The Obama DotCom “Bubble”?

Once upon a time (in 2008) there came a presidential candidate... his name: Barak Hussein Obama. Little was known about him but(funny?), most of the establishment media curiously weren’t very curious about him... it was such a GREAT story, the first African-American (aka: black) with a good chance to be elected president, (no matter he had no birth certificate)! The big media were enthusiastic players (and salespersons)in this political scenario, soon casting aside the normal questions as to qualifications and background and also tossing aside the assumed Democrat front runner, Hillary Clinton... for this "clean articulate" new guy! Wild speculations ensued, tingles went up/down media pundit's legs, and adoring praise was heaped upon “HIM” creating a kinda messianic figure! For a mostly unknown, unvetted (and still so) first term Senator from Illinois... go figure?(Never lets fact get in the way of a good story!). The excitement generated by the media sales job encouraged lotsa folks to “buy”. Especially first time and young voters... it all seemed SO GOOD! We would have a big lovefest, racism would end, the oceans would recede, the world would love us, cheap “green” energy soon available to all, and maybe even our rent and mortgage would be paid! Good times a'comin'... what’s not to like?

Hmmm???? Leads one to recall... In recent years we have seen other wild speculations and tingles. In the stock market from 1998 to 2002, there was what is now known as the “Dot Com Bubble”. During these four years many online businesses were created... t’was the new big thing! Soon E-Commerce would overtake ordinary retailers and the sky was the limit... we’d all get rich, good times a'comin' forever! Internet based companies sprung up like mushrooms after a summer rain... IPO’s were offered and these companies stocks were eagerly purchased by many investors. Prices soared! Trouble was... many of these companies offered no REAL products... they were mere promises and speculations with some very "creative" accounting. But these stocks were traded as if they were real stuff. Some folks became very wealthy, those smart or fortunate enough to sell at the height of the boom. But soon many began to learn much of the Dot Coms were “hot air” no real stuff... when folks began to realize that values were way above any reality, panic ensued causing massive selloffs and POP went the bubble... assets quickly became worthless, 401K's bombed and trillion$ were lost!

The housing bubble was a slightly different phenomenon; here there were products of real value, houses. But when Fannie and Freddie and banks were pressured by politicians to “help the little guy” (main movers Democrats in Congress led by Rep. Barney Frank and Sen. Cris Dodd)... many more people entered the market. The supply of houses could not grow enough to keep up with demand... prices soared, way above the REAL value of these properties. $100,000 houses sold for $250K with many of the loans very shaky and poorly researched. The banks and brokers, backed by promises of Fannie and Freddie were enthusiastic players as many received payment upfront or quickly packaged and sold the loans to others (SUCKERS!). Soon, as the these loans came due buyers who NEVER would have qualified under any reasonable rules began to default... panic ensued values dropped few could sell, fewer could now buy... many are “under water” and POP went the bubble! Assets quickly became worthless and trillion$ were lost! (sound familiar?). As with most liberal programs from "Great Society" till now... those who were to be helped were the most hurt.

History was made November 4, 2008, as Obama was elected POTUS, along with large Democrat majorities in both houses of Congress (gotta love a good sales job). Now... (OMG!) they had to govern! And at a time when the country was reeling economically from all the body blows of the bubbles bursting!

Note:The GOP accommodated the election of Obama by nominating a feckless “I dunno if I really wanna be Republican” candidate, 71 year old John McCain... a war hero but his best years are behind him. Poor John could not excite many folks... save introducing us to Sarah Palin, his single greatest contribution during the whole sordid and failed campaign. Sadly, most of the insider GOP want to take this tack again in 2012, makes one wonder... who's side are they own?

Since ascending to the highest office in the world and for two tortuous years forcing the oft-failed socialist agenda on an increasingly reluctant public at every turn... many have now discovered Obama and his hyper-liberal buddies in Congress also have no REAL products or solutions! All they sold us were mere vague promises of candycanes and sugarplums... (can you say “dotcom”?). His solution to everything is MORE spending, more private sector strangling regulations and more taxes on just about every apect of life... yet the economy continues to faulter and unemployment stays stubbornly high (even with cooked books, that would Paula Deen envious!). Could an observer now conclude we have another “bubble” soon to burst? Like DotCom and housing, did wild speculations raise the "paper" value of a junior senator from Illinois to hugely overvalued status???? All hype and little substance, as a great nation sinks into an economic and spiritual morass (I gotta great idea: blame Bush)!

Will voters now “sell”? We saw what may be a beginning of a MASSIVE sell off in the mid-terms of November 2010... will it complete in 2012! But the wealth and freedom lost as a result of the “Barak Obama DotCom Bubble” so far may be incalculable! More assets became worthless, 401K's bombed and trillion$ lost! Could it be (maybe just maybe) the sales people (BigMedia/politicians) were a bit dishonest in all these bubbles... Hmmm??? Now we will see an all new sales pitch (hate the rich...tax the rich, yada, yada, yada) in a new attempt to repackage and sell the same old Obama snake oil...(only the fools buy twice?) maybe we need MORE federal regulation to protect us?! Problem is... what can we do when our "protectors" are also our oppressors?

From observing the OWS protesters, the media and “Progressives” worldwide, and even President Obama … I have become convinced all Liberals, ”Progressives”, and Leftists are clinically depressed. They show signs of depression in blind faith to a vaporous concept known as “Hope and Change” as their only guarantee of making a living. Most “progressives” in the general population have some college, so one might assume they are “educated”… but the more “educated” they are the more depressed and angry they seem. So much for modern “education”... much of which has taught this through a depressing constant curriculum of America’s bad, Capitalism is “unfair”, God is nonexistent, truth is relative and ideological... so you don’t have a chance in this sad Godless world without Nanny government! Damn! I get depressed just thinking about it!

With most modern “education’ dismissing the founding Judeo-Christian concepts of our American experiment… victims of this “education” (OWSers/”progressives”) are as much “bitter-clingers” as those Obama spoke of in his infamous comment about clinging to “God and guns”. They “bitter-cling” to a cloudy nebulous promise of the Nanny state "to care" for them… perpetual spoiled children that they have become!

One of the most telltale signs of depression is an increasing disregard for one’s appearance and personal hygiene… this has become the standard for OWSers nationwide. Their camps are trash heap testaments to this symptom! Depressed people also are fast to deflect responsibility for their circumstances and quick to anger when confronted of their behavior... as they are but helpless blameless victims of the "greedy/selfish right wing" rich! It’s ALWAYS another’s fault... they are blind to their own greed and selfishness... that constant demand to have for their own what another has earned (aka: "Tax the Rich" give it to me)!!! We see this more and more in our president as his failures continue to multiply, but ALL are the fault of the heartless GOP/Tea Party (even when he had large majorities for two years in Congress).

As we approach the 2012 elections, President Obama is more and more accusatory of Congress and the people themselves (accusing us of “being lazy”)… as he descends into increased denial of the abject failure of his and the Democrats socialist fantasy. For the 2012 election expect even more frustration as his and all “progressives” depression will metastasize into anger and rage... lead by the BlameStreamMedia.

There will be NO “Hope’n Change” in his 2012 campaign… it will be full throttle class warfare as well and efforts to create ethnic and racial warfare as well, among Americans of similar class and status (divide and conquer). The Democrats “hope” being enough Americans will “change” to also being depressed/angry and buy into the vitriol and blame game... to reach that elusive 270 electoral votes.

If he succeeds… more and more Americans will join the depressed, passive and defeated population of Obama’s base, and it may be the beginning of the end of American exceptionalism. For socialism can only “succeed” with a hopeless depressed population of losers… who are willing to accept a grim rationed subsistence, from an all-knowing, all-powerful Nanny government... and call it “life”.

How depressing!!!

With OWSers taking over many of the public parks in our cities and with the Obama "Jobs Bill" being used to accuse Conservatives of malice. On can conclude the mantra of Socialism is not much different than the Serpent’s (Genesis 3) pitch in the Garden... a seduction, with similar results!!! These days with Obama, Pelosi, Reid and their band of Democrat and media pals, we are hearing its off-key siren song again... the lyrics now being "Healthcare Reform", "Cap'n Trade", "Stimulas" and "job creation"... in the effort to avoid actually using the "S" word. But it's all still bad rhymes!!!

Socialism survives on promises... once under its tyranny, the folks too late realize the delivery of these promises is a far different matter! Socialism is really a huge Ponzi pyramid scheme (or maybe a southern ante-bellum plantation)... those in charge at the top live LARGE... the "regular" folks not so good. Innovation and creativity is frustrated and oppressed with bureaucracy multiplied to strangulation levels... the purpose to maintain the sacred status quo! To do and maintain this, control of information, education and the media is essential. Human vices (especially those of the flesh) and "alternative life styles" are encouraged and glorified. Traditional Judeo-Christian faith and morality are discouraged, ridiculed and marginalized… the main vehicle for this being the now state-controlled "arts", entertainment and education industries. Media "stars" are anointed and given conditional top tier pyramid status, based on their adherence to the "party line" (as the state has now replaced God, the rulers are often given godlike admiration by the selected media). Opposition media if allowed at all, is viciously attacked using such thuggish Orwellian named tactics as “fairness doctrine” “diversity” and “net neutrality”.

Those at the top of the pyramid continually agitate those below to be in constant conflict with each other... using all things cultural and ethnic to maintain the strife (so we don’t see that our common struggle is against the top pyramid "Bernie Madoff" types). Those of us among the "lesser" are fortunate if we can maintain a rationed subsistence... long lines for most everything among us “common” folk are the SOCIALIST REALITY! (Note last years toilet paper shortage in Cuba). However, to "comfort" us and assuage our misery we have the option of blaming our misfortune on the various “enemies of the day”! This could be big corporations, "greedy" Wall Street, insurance companies, or even Fox News... but NEVER government!

One wonders why if Socialism is so wonderful, why don’t Cuba, North Korea and Venezuela have an illegal immigrant problem? Seems to me they should have to build walls to keep people out! But their walls are designed to keep the people in! It’s amazing in America today, how many of our fellow citizens buy the PROMISE (of something for nothing) and not the REALITY (the aforementioned “rationed subsistence”) of Socialism! Go figure? Convinced that the (never delivered) promised good life of Socialism is “just around the corner” many become willing slaves to the oppressive Nanny state, marching into HELL with a smile on their face!!!

To close with a paraphrase of wisdom gleaned from 18th century patriot Samuel Adams, (with some 21st century context adjustment liberties): Those who know not the Lord, are doomed to live in tyranny, but tyrants cannot (for long) rule righteous men.

Tonight we learned of the passing of Apple magnate Steve Jobs… a mega-entrepreneur and developer of a myriad of useful and fun products, concepts and gadgets. Some argue he ranks among such greats as Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Henry Ford in his contributions to the lives of us all. But we must also remind ourselves he was also a mega-billionaire, and as such (taking account my “progressive” President’s recent arguments) we must also ask did Steve Jobs pay his “fair share”, and maybe since he was a billionaire… we should just hate him?

Take this defeat as a bitter lesson and it may actually reap a small benefit! Don't make the same mistake again!

Open letter to House GOP: Compromise with Obama/Reid, it's a “Winning” Strategy!?!

Whatever Sen. Harry Reid does in the Senate debt bill... with tax increases whatever, pass it!!! With one important House change...

The balanced budget Constitutional amendment! Also, the tax increases shall NOT take effect before Jan 1, 2013 (to give time for small business to adjust), and the tax hikes and debt ceiling increase SHALL not be implemented at all, until the balanced budget amendment is passed and sent to the states for ratification. This will require some brass’uns on the GOP's part, but it would box the Democrats into a corner, if they reject their own bill with a “tiny” amendment… You can say “they got everything they asked for but not what they really want (more endless BIG government!)”. Then tell the American people “we no know Obama’s and the Democrats' idea of ‘compromise’ is unconditional surrender of the GOP and the American people, to Obama’s socialist desires! Even when it puts our nation and economy at the brink of default and permanent depression!”

Later after the “crisis” has passed… add: “when the GOP wins in 2012, the first act of the new Republican House and Senate will be to reverse any tax increases in the Reid/Obama ‘compromise’ bill retroactively”! You win both ways in my humble opinion! You show Americans it’s Obama and the Democrats who are inflexible and you campaign against the very tax increases forced on you by Obama/Reid and the abject failure of Obama’s socialist vision!

Chicago, D.C. ???

Since we have a Chicago president, I’ll use some Chicago history as an illustration of today’s Washington “gangster class” politicians. Think inside beltway RINO Republicans as Bugs Moran, think inside beltway Democrats as Al Capone… Moran and Capone competed to run the rackets in 1920s Chicago. They hated each other and often were at war (bodies of their “soldiers” often turned up on the streets... the 1929 Valentine massacre the most memorable).

While despising and trying destroy each other in "normal" times, they were both GANGSTERS and would reluctantly unite against the threat of a third party. Eliot Ness (aka: Tea Party)… arrives on the scene and threatens both of their “business”. Jump to now, RINOS and Democrats both now attempt to demonize the Tea Party as the “gangsters” (and a willing media is on board!). However with the ‘net and alternative media it’s not as easy as it once was… but that don’t mean the lies and attempts to panic us ordinary folks will stop.

It appears Obama and many Liberals still don’t seem to understand the new Tea Party (Eliot Ness) factor… as they are lumped in with regular GOPers. While the Tea Party did support the GOP in 2010, they did not support the RINO wing (ask Bob Bennett). Many of the freshman class are not establishment Republicans. But Obama and many Liberals still are trying to fight the last war (demonize the GOP per usual), and appear perplexed (and extremely frustrated) as to why the expected GOP surrender in the debt fight has yet to occur. Speaker Boehner seems to be trying his best to fold but is facing this Tea Party revolt on his right. Thus expect the doomsday scare tactics will be multiplied.

Many Americans are becoming suspicious of the doomsday threat… (we have already passed one in April)… and are (hopefully) becoming wise that default and doomsday will ONLY occur if Obama and the Democrats choose it. Now ALL 53 Senate Democrats have signed a letter to Speaker Boehner that they PREFER “doomsday” to any cuts and lack of tax increases. That action leads me to believe that they are not as afraid of default or doomsday as they are of the Big Lefties (Soros, etc) who appear to own them… (but like in Cold War days they have secret “bunkers” in which to retreat). The fight will be long, hard and dirty… just like for Eliot Ness, we hope and pray that the new Tea Party Congress members can be “Untouchable” in the dirty corrupting caldron of Washington/Chicago D.C. Prayers!

I am now of the opinion if old folks don't get their Social Security checks or Medicare, if the poor don't get their Medicaid and people are mired in recession, unemployment, underwater mortgages, despair and misery... that our President Obama and the Democrats will be FINE with it... if they think it all can successfully blamed on the GOP! (Expect a full court press from the Blame Stream Media!) The DC liberals prove each day they care little for the welfare and prosperity of the average hard working American! As we follow the budget and debt ceiling drama in Washington, D.C. fear and panic seem to be Obama's only "strategy". Makes me wonder if he believes the world will end in 2012, for his actions and policies look no further in the future than November 6, of next year! From my observations, the actions of our president and his party are beginning to border on the sociopathic! That can't be good!

Watch MSNBC, Current TV (new home of Olbie) as well as the alphabet's nightly "news" and you hear great words: fairness, truth, equality, justice, peace and economic justice. But (big but) when any liberal/”progressive” speaks... understand what they say is 180 degrees out of phase with what they want you to believe! Liberalism/Progressivism is the ULTIMATE Ponzi scam! Seen a poor Dem/RINO Congressperson lately? (didn’t think so)! Liberalism’s basic tenet is you (average American hard working citizen) CANNOT be trusted to use your hard-earned resources “fairly” (You know for the elusive “public good”). Thus most of your property and income MUST be confiscated by an elite ruler class (Ivy League/Stanford/Cal-Berkeley types), who “knows best” how to spend it. From this ideology we get Liberal/"Progressive" words: "fairness", "truth", "equality", "justice" "peace" and "economic justice"... how can YOU be against such lofty ideals? (you racist/homophobe/Neanderthal, clinging to your God and guns!)

Liberal the word, has been badly distorted, as has "progressive" the absolute 180 degree example! (why it should always be in quotes)… they claim exclusive ownership on compassion for the less fortunate, but do it with other people’s money? That’s NOT compassion, that’s larceny!!!. The modern “Liberal/Progressive” is the very definition of the GREED they claim to abhor (wink, wink!)… demanding ownership of what someone else had produced (“tax the rich more”). Their bleats are like a robber accusing you of “greed” when you resist his theft.

Liberals/Progressives “Imagine” group ownership of all, with little if any private property. But (another big but!) in this system, the question is... who controls this property? The aforementioned great “leaders”(Rulers!) themselves of course! After confiscation, they then allocate resources as they see fit... with history showing most of the allocation going first for themselves! (the great lie of “fairness”). Many of my Liberal/Progressive (aka: useful idiot) friends bemoan that "so much in our world is controlled by so few"… NEWS FLASH! That IS the exact outcome of all-powerful centralized government! The accompanying strangling regulation and hyper-licensing soon crush innovation and motivation, hard work is frustrated, production is curtailed (no drill, no way sez EPA!), resulting in less and less to be "shared" under the direction of our “benevolent protectors”. In my experience liberty is superior! (See Greece for further study)

We may share the same space/time as Lefties, but a totally different dimension/paradigm. Like said before, when they say the same words it has a 180 opposite meaning from our understanding. Anything that goes against their accepted realities is "wrong", a "lie" (Fox lies!), “misinformed” and of course “right wing”. “Truth” in LeftWorld is NOT about facts, but ideology. When fact and reality get in the way, facts are dismissed as “misinformation” and/or “hate speech” to be suppressed and possibly even prosecuted. This is why they despise Fox News and anyone/anything that disrupt their illusions… if you’re not Left, you’re a Right wing fanatic (NO middle ground). Same goes for “moral”, it has NOTHING to do with personal behavior (go and sext 14-year olds all day!) but again is ideology, if you’re pro-choice, pro "gay" marriage (supporting regular marriage is optional), believe global warming and support single-payer healthcare you are “moral”.

With the Liberal Left's power and influence suffering some setbacks in recent elections. We must prepare and gird for the most fierce, savage and vicious attacks and accusations EVER in our history. Media lynch mobs as well as union goons and their regular mobs and goons will be in full tantrum! We are seeing this in Wisconsin with an accusation by state Supreme Court justice (hyper-lib Ann Walsh Bradley), that fellow justice David Prosser (allegedly) assaulted her… according to reports details are “sketchy”. No matter Lib websites have convicted Judge Prosser and are demanding his removal! When Lib/Left/Progressives lose an election, it’s always mob time! With ObamaCare heading for the U.S. Supreme Court the Left lynch mob is redoubling their efforts to disqualify and rid the court of Clarence Thomas, with a new fusillade of very questionable accusations. Yet these very hypocrites demand “civility” from their opponents? (WARNING Constitution liberty loving Americans, TEA Party folks and just plain patriots risk all if they fall into the trap and play the Left’s “civility” game)!

When understood you know there is NO reasoning with such folks… they must be defeated! It will be a long and hard campaign, and we will take some casualties, but the very foundations of our republic are at great risk, maybe even as great as in World War II and the Cold War combined. For now the enemy is within our own country and government! Their thought processes, morality, sense of "justice" and governance is from the mob... Remember to them the "Ends justify the Means" and their "Ends" will end in tyranny! 180 degrees opposite of what we understand and desire.

Appendix: Liberal/"Progressive" Glossary:
Truth: Whatever forwards their cause to take what you earn. Does NOT require facts or logic!
Equality: Take what you got, and tell you what lightbulbs to use and what car to drive.
Justice: Groundless (seriousness of the charge) accusations... facts be damned, you're guilty!
Fairness/Economic Justice: Take your stuff and give to those who vote early and often for them.
Peace: Kill the Jews and destroy Israel... (why do so many American Jews support Liberal/Left causes? Is it a death wish, or have they fired God and hired Marx?). Either way it will end in their destruction (and ours if not stopped)!
Civility: The great trap for Conservatives, DON'T FALL FOR IT! As conservatives are by nature civil, Lib/"Progressives" will always use this against us to try to deflect criticism. Libs of course, can call conservatives every name in the book, lie, slander and insult! Through all they somehow still remain "civil". (???)
Racism/Hate speech: ANY disagreement with LeftLib/"Progressives" policies, accusations or assertions.
Rule of Law: To LeftLibs "law" is something used to attack conservatives... they are under no obligation to follow any stinkin' law they don't like. Best example is illegal immigration, but there are others: such as Timothy Geithner, and Charles Rangel's tax "oversights".

You MUST know your enemy to win the fight! God bless America!

Romney/Huntsman 2012… the RINO dream ticket among Democrats and media libtards!

Romney/Huntsman 2012 (or vice-versa or ? for VP)… will be the dream ticket among Democrats and media libtards! Look for BIG LIB $$$ to find their way into their primary campaigns... especially the "open" primary states. We thought in 2008, Obama was the "Manchurian Candidate" turns out it was McPain, selected by the liberals and media. The Arizona RINO was the perfect GOP opponent to help elect our first hyper-liberal (almost) African-American president! McPain almost screwed it all up by picking Sarah Palin as running mate, but media overtime efforts, and the “convenient” financial panic were able to pull Obama into the Oval Office. Sadly election rules in many states award all delegates to the highest vote getter NOT a majority. In Florida, McPain received all GOP delegates with just 34%... this outrageous stacked deck is in the works for Mr. Mittcare also. That is why media outlets are saying Mitt’s 25% is a “commanding” lead. The election rules were allegedly to save money, but they are a disaster... no election should be won with less than 50%+1 (but that's another post)! Liberalism is trust? Never… 180 outta phase! Liberalism/Progressivism is the ULTIMATE Ponzi scam! Have ya seen a poor Congressperson lately? (I didn’t think so)! Liberalism’s basic tenet is you CANNOT be trusted to use your hard-earned resources “fairly” (Ya know for the elusive “public good”). Thus most of your property and income MUST be confiscated by an elite ruler class, who “knows best” how to spend it.

Liberal the word, has been badly distorted (as has progressive)… they claim an exclusive on compassion but do it with other people’s money? That’s NOT compassion, but larceny!!!. The modern “Liberal/Progressive” is the very definition of the GREED they claim to abhor (wink, wink!)… demanding ownership of what someone else had produced (“tax the rich more”). Their bleats are like a robber accusing you of “greed” when you resist his theft.

Liberals/Progressives “Imagine” group ownership of all, with little if any private property. But! In this system who controls this property? The aforementioned great “leaders”(Rulers!). After confiscation, they allocate resources as they see fit, with most of the allocation for them (the great lie of “fairness”). Many of my Liberal/Progressive friends bemoan that so much in our world is controlled by so few… which IS the exact outcome of centralized government with the accompanying strangling regulation (that they advocate??? Go figure???). Innovation and motivation to work is frustrated, production is curtailed, resulting in less and less to be shared under the direction of our “benevolent protectors”. In my experience liberty is superior!

Gasoline and Diesel in a when-is-it gonna-end upward spiral!
Food and other essentials affected by fuel prices up, up, up!
Pension funds going broke! States and cities going broke!
People in Wisconsin and other union dominated states near riot over any attempt to balance budgets! Government healthcare for all.
Calls for tax increase on every aspect of life!
Real estate in freefall? Government assistance at all-time high!
More and more of the populace becoming disenchanted, defeated, demoralized!
Large number of foreign workers creating enclaves (colonies?) that refuse to assimilate and demand we submit to their law!

“Progressives” and President Obama have always advocated we become more like Europe, Hmmmmm??? Permanent 9-10% unemployment, fuel prices at $4 and higher… more population dependent on government handouts, increasingly depressed people… illegals demanding instant citizenship and government goodies! States like Massachusetts with socialized medicine (thanx Mitt!) with 55+ day doctor waits!

Plantation Nation… The Democrat Plantations!

In last November's 22nd Florida congressional race, GOP candidate Allen West, (an African-American)… was in a tight race with incumbent Democrat Ron Klein. Mr. West had “foolishly” attempted escape from the Democrat “plantation” and so he must learn the minority vote is OWNED by white liberal Democrats. For this act of disrespect to his “masters” he was punished! His social security number was published by the local Democrats as the first of many “lashes” he must now endure for his “uppity” resistance to his “owners”! There is NO bottom to the depths the statist will go to maintain power! Any minority who participates in any TEA Party or even GOP event is marked for severe “discipline”!

For many decades after the War Between the States, and after the Democrats regained power during reconstruction, blacks were again brutalized and oppressed… no longer slaves but still not free. The segregation model was the centerpiece of southern Democrats and much of the party at large for nearly a century… the sad irony? While things have changed, have they in some ways remained eerily the same? With the advance of the civil rights movement, things started looking up for minorities… and much hope was inspired by the 1964 & 1965 Civil Rights and Voting Acts, championed by Democrat President Lyndon Johnson. Ironically, the most fierce opposition was from fellow Democrats, mostly in the south who remained die-hard segregationists.

As a side-script, one of the most disastrous strategic blunders in American politics was Republican Senator Barry Goldwater’s vote against the 1964 Civil Rights bill… in spite of more (per cent) GOP votes than Democrat when the bill passed! BUT the 1964 GOP Presidential nominee voted NO, and that is what’s remembered! It has tarred, tormented and branded Republicans as anti-minority ever since! The damage done by the lingering residue of Goldwater’s disastrous 1964 vote, cannot be overstated!!!

After the great moral victory of the Civil Rights movement… it almost immediately began to be undone, by the very politicians who championed it! Democrats starting with President Lyndon Johnson, enacted The “Great Society” and “War on Poverty” programs that promised to be the “cure” for poor folks in America. HUGE $UM$ have been expended in the decades since… but the results (whether desired or not… one wonders???) have been catastrophic to minorities and the poor! What has resulted is the “Re-Plantationing” of minorities! Welfare and housing programs have tragically “ warehoused” much of the the poor in public housing ghettos, de-motivated many from pursuing careers, and DESTROYED poor families… essentially by emasculating the men. Public assistance, not fathers provide the “paycheck”… and often only if the father is absent, encouraging all things irresponsible… sexual and otherwise (close to 70% of African-American births are out of wedlock)! These “Welfare Plantations” have become crime and gang dominated, drug infested cesspools of high unemployment and despair! As most are dependent on government handouts… the residents of these modern plantations give 90+% of their votes to the very political machine that imprisons them with one hand, and provides only a rationed subsistence with the other!!! The Democrat party, the party of the plantation (then and now)!

The “plantation” residents are enveloped in a “straitjacket” of welfare culture! In their schools, often in their churches (Rev. Wright comes to mind), by their supposed “leaders” (Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc.) and mostly in their popular culture (gangta rap, etc.), twisted as it seems, to break out is often seen to be “disloyal”! Most all of the big cities are run by Democrat political machines… who work to keep the plantation intact, the people dependent and ALWAYS in an uproar! (Example: constant and totally phony accusations of racial epithets by the “tea baggers” )

This is VERY convenient for the Democrat politicians, they KNOW where their voters are, and routinely round them up come election day... those who are uncooperative (as in the old days) and aspire to independence are “disciplined” by being accused of “acting white” (often used for good school grades) and not being “down for the struggle”. “Escapees” (such as Supreme Court associate Justice Clarence Thomas, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice) and now Mr. West are savaged as “disloyal to their race” or “Uncle Toms” etc. by “overseers” who are often politicians, celebrities and “leaders” of their own race! Recall the reaction to recent comments critical of black culture by Bill Cosby… Justice Thomas expressed it best when at his confirmation hearings he referred to a “high-tech lynching” for an “uppity n*gg*r”!

The message to minorities for decades has been, escaping the modern liberal plantation is nearly as hazardous as running away from the antebellum ones of long ago! For too many of our minority citizens, trapped in these liberal plantations... they are still... no longer slaves but still not free.

Media: where bad behavior is ALWAYS rewarded!

From Charlie Sheen, to Lindsey Lohan to nitwit "preacher" Terry Jones (Quran burner)… the media and popular culture always reward bad behavior. And we all know what’s rewarded you get more of, what's punished you get less of.

With the case of “Pastor” Jones there appears to be strange symbiotic relationship with him and the radical Islamists. He gains (lotsa) publicity for his miniscule congregation through a deliberately provocative outrageous act of burning a competing religion’s holy book, and the Islamists get a fine good excuse to commit ever more murder and mayhem. T'is interesting in today’s world how many groups are excited and anxious to get outraged and offended. They live for it, and are disappointed if it doesn’t happen. However, in the case of Islamists, they commit murder and mayhem anyway, but like it better when a numbskull Florida pastor accommodates them by giving them reason to do their “great Satan” thing yet again (boring!). But the REAL winners are the insatiable for bad behavior media (Fox included)… always cultivating outrage, anger, envy and any other human failures that gain the coveted ratings! Could one even argue without an eager beaver anxious media, desiring to accommodate any and all bad behavior (such as: Islamists, Gays, and the myriad of various favored minorities)… could such organizations even exist, much less thrive? What would Hollywood bad boys/girls do for fun? We probably will NEVER know!

God help us! Save us from those who claim to be your people, but demand we submit to THEM instead of you! Save us O Lord, from a media that loves chaos, conflict and disaster! And if there isn't any will work to create some... Amen!

Open Letter to Governor Scott Walker...

Dear Governor Walker:

Here on the Ides of March, as we recall the death of a tyrant, we have learned from your experiences in Wisconsin (and soon all over), that when Democrats lose elections... “democracy has failed"! In their twisted outlook, they have NO obligation to accept the election results! In bizarre irony... While President Obama hosted a seminar on the "crisis" of bullying , his union affiliated supporters trashed the people's capitol in Madison and threatened GOP legislators. All in protest of your attempts to curtail the public union stranglehold on your state, and balance the budget.

Now there's news (protection racket?) of public unions (including police/firefighters) sending intimidating letters to Wisconsin businesses demanding they oppose your reform efforts ("reform" is only bad when conservatives do it). One of the bloggers on the net has insightfully labeled union actions "Mobocracy".

Sir, these disturbing threats to duly elected officials by "progressive" public unions, are shocking (but sadly not surprising). However opportunity is yours (IMHO), to address this outrage to the people of Wisconsin and the nation. Ask the Police and Firefighters union leaders (as well as the rank and file) this question (forgive my speechwriting):

“All of you took an oath to ‘protect and serve’. But now I regretfully must question your, is that oath contingent on political agreement of those you (allege) to serve? If responding to a fire, will non-supporting businesses/homes burn, while you stand aside? Will criminals be exempt from your arrest, if the victim of the crime is a known political opponent? If you (God forbid) , were to be badly injured or burned in pursuit of your duty, would you understand if the GOP doctor/nurse (using your precedent) refused to treat your wounds? Political opposition taken to thuggery is a sword that cuts both ways and injures all involved"

Governor Walker... I the humble RedNeckoBlogger, submit the above as my tiny suggestion. God Bless you (and all) who pursue fiscal sanity and limited government. We must do our part to inform our citizens this effort is far from over (as long as larceny lives in the heart of humankind, there WILL be "progressives").

Public unions were invented by Democrats for the sole purpose of funneling of gobs of taxpayer cash to their party. As public union leaders, became ever greedier with each “success” (most rank & file exempted, as they are forced to join and pay) they forgot the FIRST RULE of the parasite... “don't kill your host”. Now as their “hosts” wither away in financial hemorrhage, they demand NO LESS BLOOD. Sir, caution them in their rage… for when you kill your host, you die soon after. But the "war" (their description) to rescue states and our nation from the liberal "protection racket" will be ferocious and long! Tis not for the faint of heart.

Government as “Protection Racket”

Rep. Michele Bachmann as with most truth tellers is under fire for describing the Obama administration as "Gangster Government"... I would venture to compare it to a Chicago style “Protection racket”...(IMHO, Al Capone, John Gotti would be green with envy!). Like his Chicago mob forebearers, you (unfavored businesses... GE, GM excepted) don’t do business unless CapoObama gets his “PisaDaAction”!. From ObamaCare to “financial” reform thru strangling regulations to prevent the dreaded “Climate Change”... it is all sold as being for our “protection” against big bad Wall Street and EVEEELL corporations! Thanx Godfather Barak... I feel SO safe and warm... well, at least till you ration my energy (but just maybe... I’d prefer to take my chances with Wall Street).

When Democrats control the Federal government and “blue” states” they are essentially run as a "protection racket" (and have been for awhile IMHO) “fat cats” (and some not so fat) of all varieties must pony up with the campaign and other "contributions". In an effort to avoid harmful regulations and also, in some cases, become qualified to get bailed out (too big to fail ya know) when their malfeasance (financial and otherwise) gets ‘em in trouble. Too give the “devil” his due… the Obama administration has just about perfected this (all that good “Chicago” experience?). BP’s 2010 spill and misdeeds led to a large “shakedown” (note to Rep. Barton and Bachmann: there’s NO GREATER punishment in Washington DC, than for telling the truth!!!). All "Big Oil" were victims caught up in the BP mess (guilt by association)! I am curious to see if ANY but a bare minimum of folks adversely effected by this oil spill disaster really got much help… (unless they display the “Union Label”… IMHO).

As the "Battle of Wisconsin" and those in other public union dominated states are fought, we observe that union bosses have a LONG tradition of looting their pension and health care funds. If Obama get his way they are next in line for HUGE taxpayer bailouts (biyon$$$$). It has been said for decades by most respected economists that you can’t “tax your way to prosperity”… I now know that is not exactly true… if you are among the select powerful in DC, (running the protection) you can… but just for yourself. Now with possible HUGE tax increases on just about every aspect of American life our “protectors” plan to tax us ordinary folk to their GREAT prosperity… (once again refer to “Plantation Nation”. The Battle of Wisconsin... or Richard Trumka is a SCARY guy!

One of the most onerous bits of Leftist/LSM propaganda is that the Wisconsin (and other state’s) battles with public unions is about “worker’s rights” (straw-man!). Public unions are inventions of the Democrat Party, who having long advocated public funding for elections... in effect have it (for decades… but just for them). The sad reality: they have bought (with public money of all Americans) not rights but PRIVLEDGE similar to a quasi-royalty (something the Founders NEVER envisioned)! The Democrat Party of our parents is but a faded memory as big city/state Democrat machines morphed into “banana” republics! There is little input from the “downtrodden” they claim to champion (the people cast ballots, but are the "votes" already counted?). Many times we have observed, when a “protected” class citizen attempts “escape” (Clarence Thomas, Condi Rice, Allen West, Herman Cain, etc.) they are ruthlessly attacked by the “enforcer overseers”… such as the Reverends(NOT!) AL/Jesse as “Uncle Toms” and “not really Black”. To attempt escape from the 21st Century Democrat “Plantation” is only slightly less dangerous than their ancestors attempts of Ante-Bellum days. Could we maybe we need a 21st Century Underground Railroad?

The oft forced union “workers” are played for chumps, and are only revered for their union dues (many are forced and do not support the “public union label”). Much of our citizenry are victims of the NEA and other “education” union’s decades of indoctrination in the classroom (many excellent teachers are frustrated and quit). And Johnny/Jane still reads lousy, and can't speull so good.

The BIG battle of Wisconsin, etc... IMHO, is the state going to continue to collect union dues as payroll deduction or force the unions to do it themselves? Thus the UPROAR! If victorious, Scott Walker and other GOP governors will have won a political victory of a magnitude yet to be measured… the possible de-funding of a corrupt and gangster Democrat party. Now with like wounded cornered animals, the fight will be vicious, and long! I have a measure of sympathy for the Democrat run-away legislators. I bet they WERE TOLD to leave and would be in physical danger (Richard Trumka is a SCARY guy!) if they dare return without the “blessing” of their union masters. The next half-century could be at stake in this battle! HIGH STAKES! This is a MUST win fight for BOTH sides!

In my lifetime (50+ years), the only thing that defeats an incumbent president is high unemployment and crappy economy. And if inflation becomes bad... Obama will have the loser's trifecta, like Jimmah Carter in 1980. No matter their politics Americans REFUSE to be anything but prosperous and free, just far too many want someone other than them to pay for it!

However, there IS Hope (n'Change?) for Obama in 2012... Mitt Romney. If he is the GOP nominee, 4 more years! The GOP 'establishment' seem all RINO. In 2008, John McCain became the nominee with far less that 50% of the base GOP primary vote. This was NOT an accident(IMHO). To allow 'Blue' states with open primaries such weight in the nominating process is madness! (but only if you don't want to win). We now have the Tea Party on one side and the Dems and RINOS on the other, such is our situation.

In other musings… I still have some (dwindling) friends who are dedicated and passionate “progressives” (aka: Socialists)… dwindling because when their buddy (me) reveals my Tea Party sentiments my “tolerant” (soon) former friends recoil at my “ignorance” and “stupidity”. Aren’t all “educated and enlightened” folks Leftist? (if not they should be!)… the incredulity when they learn one of their fellows does not conform to their non-conformity angers and frustrates them no end! They soon prove to me their vocabulary (words like "freedom" "tolerance", etc.) is 180 degrees from mine.

These (so-called) “progressives” in today’s politics have more in common with the old divine right of kings than with Socialists (Hmmm??? maybe there's no difference). They see themselves as a privileged ruling class who must control us “lessers”. If they are able to capture both established parties… they NEVER lose! Mitt Romney is now the alleged front runner for 2012, or so the LSM tells us. Sarah Palin and other real conservatives (like Hermann Cain, Michelle Bachmann for example), we are told they have NO chance. If this is really the case, wouldn't our media pals be pushing them to the top… yet they are constant attack mode, telling us who they really fear!

To close… The duplicity we see in most Leftists (aka: “Progressives”) causes us liberty minded folks to accuse them of hypocrisy... but Leftists are NOT (technically) hypocrites IMHO… they are “ends justifies the means” types. Hypocrisy is just another “tool” in the box… as anything that advances their cause of tyranny is “good”. Truth is an impediment and must be destroyed, before their “success” can be achieved. The strange alliance between the secular Left and Islamists is founded on this mutual love of totalitarianism... so all makes sense in a (REAL) creepy kind of way. Have a good day!

A whopping 53% of a the staggering total of damn near $7 Trillion (FY 2011)!!! And yet they demand MORE! (and we wonder why our economy's flat?)... It has become obvious that if government could(they would) confiscate ALL the wealth earned since 1776, (gazllion$) it would STILL NOT be enough for our Federal/State/Local 'masters"... especially the Feds... they would still deficit spend!!! Such is the greed and lust for power in the halls of government! Will the new GOP majorities STOP this madness or be seduced into joining it??? We know the parasite that kills it's host soon dies itself!

Maybe after all it's not what they say that proves their true "love" for us… But what they do???!

With much of the country in a nasty deep freeze (damn global warming… Al Gore warned us ya know!)… there’s this interesting weather and energy related link from Drudge today. Makes me recall what candidate Barak Obama said way back in 2008, "Energy prices will "necessarily skyrocket" under his plans. But maybe the next question we may very well have to deal with: In the future (maybe near future) will energy even be AVAILABLE at any price???

I know this may be difficult for many in the “progressive” community to grasp(gasp!), but in what appears to be opposite of their “known love" and concern for the welfare of us the “little people”… Obama’s EPA is continuing (in spite of climate legislation failing in Congress), to implement its back door "crap'n trade" plan... capping our prosperity and trading it overseas (to China maybe?). Bottom line... maybe it's not what they SAY that proves their true "love" for us… but what they DO???!

Big Bang and other Variations... and Middle East Peace?

Evolution is “fact”… claim its ardent adherents, but most of their confidence is bravado… if they indeed had facts to prove it, they would not get so agitated and often near apoplectic when “dumb, ignorant” Christians/theists (like me) challenge their assertions. Why does scientific fact need court decisions and legal sanctions against opposing views? In such actions, the militant evolutionist betrays his/her views as just another religion (join the club guys/gals).

We all got religion... even no religion is religion, Evolution is ultimately religion. Religion is part of our DNA. Within the limits of our Earthly knowledge, the answers to all great questions of life are ultimately... speculations.

The accepted (not proved) origin of the universe (always subject to change) by most evolutionary cosmologists is known as the “Big Bang Model (Theory)” (not to be confused with the braindead TV comedy of the same name). The irony of acceptance of the “Big Bang” is the admission the universe had a finite beginning (that leans theist a bit)… when first advocated Big Bang had a hostile reception from those who advanced the “Steady State Model” (a prior “truth” of cosmic explanation). Eventually the steady Staters lost the argument. The only thing all could agree own was God/Intelligent Creator was NOT involved. Somehow, someway the incredibly and complex universe and the origin of life just somehow came to be… something us ignorant theists would brave to call a “miracle”.

Which brings us to Islam... Islam has a different take on Big Bang ... ask the survivors from 9-11 through the Moscow airport, and many incidents in between. As an unabashed theist, I assert all was foretold millennia ago: Muslims trace their lineage to Abraham though Ishmael (not Isaac as do Jews and Christians)... it was prophesied 3,500 years ago by Genesis 16:12: "… he shall be as a wild ass among men; his hand shall be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell against all his brethren."

Too me... most interesting in the prophecy is... it says ALL his brethren... and that must also include other Muslims. Which means and history (so far) has not contradicted, as long as the Middle East is Muslim there will NEVER be peace!

Is the Year 2011 Unconstitutional?

In but the latest chapter of a 20-year "soap opera" with the defenders of all things anti-sacred (ACLU), the federal court (9th U.S. Circus of Appeals, San Francisco) has ruled the long standing Mount Soledad Cross (in San Diego... standing since 1913) is religion thus unconstitutional and must be removed. IMHO this must only be the beginning of our pursuit of NEVER offending the "professionally offended" (you know who you are)!

In our constant effort to not be insensitive, we MUST now seriously consider the banning of the year 2011, and all years before and after! 2011 has a obvious and brazen Christian origin, all of which is very offensive to the “professional offended people” among us (represented by the ACLU). I expect them to soon petition the 9th Circus Court to overturn as unconstitutional the year 2011. Even the recent substitution of BCE/CE for BC/AD is not suffice, as the origins are the same (birth of Jesus Christ - main man of the dreaded and hated "Christians"... enemies of Holy Diversity).

So it must be done! I suggest after overturning 2011, the judges of the 9th Circus, order a committee formed to decide if we should substitute the year 15,000,000,000 ABB (after Big Bang, based on speculation as to the age of our universe) or possibly declare the year 2 ABE (After Barak Elected with all prior years now referred to as BM-Before Messiah... in that He is the true messiah of "progressives" and the professionally offended).

We can no longer tolerate the brazen and insensitive use of the year 2011, or any subsequent or past reference. For as with speech, gun rights, etc (in "progressive" world)… we must control the actions and freedoms of ALL by the actions and standards of the lowest most depraved among us!

They Burn Witches Don't They? (Sarah Palin Witch Trial 2011)

The best metaphor for the left’s latest attack on Sarah Palin might be the witch trials preceding the Enlightenment. Most of us believe that a modern society would never tolerate the kind of unfounded and unreasonable allegations brought during witch trials. That is probably true. However, recent events suggest that some of our countrymen not only purport to believe in witches but would also like to destroy them.

Prior to the Enlightenment, witchcraft charges typically followed a malady or tragedy in a community, causing its members to rashly seek a cause. The rashness of this search was frequently accompanied by hysteria and a wolfpack mentality. After Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was shot by a crazed, would-be assassin named Jared Loughner on January 8, 2011, leftwing politicians and pundits immediately began blaming Palin because of a map on the SarahPAC website. (On that map, Congresswoman Gifford’s district is marked by a symbol resembling a target, suggesting that Republicans should aim to retake her district.) One after the other leftwinger repeated the allegations with little or no hesitation.

The hallmark of witchcraft charges is their baseless nature with respect to facts and reason. For example, witches were often accused of attacking their victims by casting spells. Today, most of us know that spells cannot cause illness or calamity because there is no provable cause-and-effect. However, the accusers of Sarah Palin never bothered to consider cause-and-effect. Absolutely no evidence has emerged that Loughner was exposed to the map on the SarahPAC website. Hence, there is no known causation that links the map to Loughner’s actions. If Loughner had no knowledge of the map, how could it have motivated him to attack Giffords?

Persons accused of witchcraft were usually women or newcomers to the community. They often lived in outlying areas or outside the bounds of conventional society. As such, they were easy marks for the members of the civil establishment who typically leveled the formal charges. Consistent with these historical trends, Sarah Palin is unquestionably female; and, she is a relative newcomer to our national “community.” She also lives in a remote region and embraces “outmoded” methods of self-sufficiency such as hunting. So, the establishment media and body politic may consider her easy prey for baseless charges. Compared to other presidential prospects, Palin has relatively few connections to the elite in the media and government. The accusers seem to have assumed that few among the elite will stand in her defense, especially given the mounting charges.

Oftentimes, the accusers of witches did not actually believe the charges they made. Rather, the charges were leveled solely to satisfy a grudge or vendetta against the accused. In short, the charges were lies intended to harm. Sometimes, the charges were meant to hide or distract from crimes or problems in the community. After Congresswoman Giffords was shot, many in the leftwing establishment blamed Palin despite the obvious absurdity of the charge. Are we to conclude that all of these accusers really believed what they were saying? Or did they have ulterior motives? Is it a coincidence that these most recent allegations were made by the same people who have attacked Palin in the past?

In the past, witch trials were tolerated by the public largely due to their ignorance, fear and conformity. Many witch trials produced guilty verdicts because of the undemocratic and heavy-handed ways in which they were prosecuted. Here, the similarities with the past end. The Enlightenment arrived some time ago, and it has changed the way we think and behave. We are no longer governed chiefly by superstition and the blind acceptance of assertions by our social betters. If someone makes a claim, he is expected to produce facts to support it. We are free to choose our leaders, and our laws prevent them from cowing us into submission.

Some in the elite establishment may think us fools who will blindly dance to their tune. But if they expect us to dance around a burning witch, they had better think again.

College athletics (IMHO) is the ultimate testimony to liberal plantation greed! Like an antebellum southern plantation, lotsa folks make big buck$, EXCEPT the producers/workers (players). Sure they get their tuition and living expenses paid, (so did the slaves) but the coaches, administrators, TV networks, etc... get million$! Now we learn five Ohio State players, heroes of salvaging a bit of Big Ten pride in the Sugar Bowl (31-26 over Arkansas of the nemesis SEC)… are suspended for five 2011 games for doing what the coaches and university bigshots do everyday, with NO problem… selling their stuff and making a bit of money! (as few college players go on to get huge pro contracts). OK... I might suspend them for a coupla plays or make 'em run extra laps... for being stupid enough to think marking their bodies with tattoos is cool, but that's it!

Like most liberal policies, the NCAA’s rules are NOT (and never is) for the benefit of the ones claimed (players)! Is it time for some “reform” (fave liberal word!)… so that student athletes can at least be compensated a bit (like sell their own stuff!) , and still be short of “professional”? Maybe be paid a stipend for the many strenuous hours they must commit (and risk injury) to be a part of a winning team… which makes gazillion$ for old OSU! (and others). As a young student I had a part time job working in the school cafeteria to make a few bucks… nobody accused me of violating any sacred rules! Also most athletes spend so much time in their sports and school (we hope) that there is little time for a part-time job. Many student athletes, come form humble backgrounds and don't enough pocket cash to buy a pizza for their date! But like most liberals, NCAA types are opposed to ANY real solutions that interfere with their sense of superiority and the "bubble" world in which they reside! They would rather sanctimoniously go after schools with "Native American" team names than DO anything truly worthwhile! Go figure?

Since Barak “Messiah” Obama was unfortunately elected U.S. president, we have been promised that jobs will be saved and created, healthcare will be affordable to all, “evil” Wall Street fat cats will be disciplined, racial tensions will be no more, the oceans will recede, polar bears will cavort in happiness, cheap “green” energy will abound… basically Heaven on Earth will be realized. Like it has been said by me and others… the PROMISE IS BOLD AND EASY TO READ, but if ya want the reality you better carefully study the fine print... (hint: it was all LIES)!

Today more than ever, many feel our U.S. federal government, many state and local governments are at odds, and possibly even “at war” with the average citizen! We see more government by executive fiat… creating ever more strangling regulation by a growing cadre of hyper-bureaucrats, that inevitably destroy motivation, innovation, and real jobs! “Blue” government (federal, state and local) has morphed a real hostility to us, the average folks! In spite of the anti-big business rhetoric, the Obama administration and liberal Democrats are (IMHO) as “corporately owned” as any administration in history… HUGE tax-payer bailouts for cooperating Wall Street firms, large companies like GE, GM, Chrysler and “too big to fail” banks… (yet the GOP is the party of the “fat cats” per the so-called big media). Nothing is further from the truth!!! As alternative media grows and challenges the former monopoly of the legacy media, we are seeing plans to censor the first amendment (like the Orwellian named “Net Neutrality”).

We the average Americans are becoming more and more aware that any form of government labeled as “progressive” is nothing but a Chicago style mob "protection racket" (you don't do business unless gangsta government gets their "piece of the action")! After a stinging rebuke from the voters, the lame duck Libs/”progressives” pretty much gave us in middle America the middle finger! The feckless (pre Tea Party) GOP offered only token resistance to these lame duck outrages! So now we now see the (Obama regime) attempt disturbing efforts to oppress through administrative regulation and executive orders… all to continue the growth of Obama’s and Democrat’s Chicago-style gangster protection racket government (the people be damned!).

Our lamest of lame duck Congress is considering among other liberty destroying policies the repeal of what’s become known as “don’t ask, don’t tell”, in regards to sexual orientation of military recruits and service people. It was begun during the Clinton administration as a compromise as to the eligibility of homosexual (PC word... gay) recruits. Lotsa self-righteous posturing and grandstanding went on back then and is going on still today for public consumption! Leads one to contemplate what tis all about!

IMHO "Don't ask, don't tell" is a problem for liberals because it’s just too dang successful! DADT to me is a good policy for life. When I need a mechanic, plumber or other service, I have yet to ask their sexual orientation. I ask for references as to them being the best as what they do. If God forbid, I was in a car crash… I would NOT ask or care what the religion, race or sexual orientation of the hero who pulled me from the flaming wreck! I would just be eternally thankful!

The military since DADT has been effective (whenever allowed to be)... gay service folks how ever many, seem to have contributed... which leads to the "problem". In the minds of Lefties, it has NOT produced enough CHAOS and CONFLICT! So they MUST try to make a policy that does! The Left continually agitates and exploits all differences, cultural, class, racial, ethnic and… sexual orientation. The goal always to create and maintain strife among people who normally could get along! Less we become aware who the REAL enemy is! In truth the “tolerant” Left is TOTALLY intolerant of tolerance! December 7, Pearl Harbor day... so war (I 'spose) is appropriate subject matter. Among the news of the day, we have billboard ads about the nation purchased by atheists, dissing Christmas ("season for reason", as opposed to "Jesus, reason for the season"... clever those atheists). However, as the aforementioned unabashed theist of the “born again Christian” variety... I find the atheist is a strange sort: he(she)often as part of their argument, rails against the "injustice" of God who does not exist, then (exclusively) claims to be of "rational and reasoned" mind! Try as I might, I can’t calculate their “math” (what is "justice" and "reason" in a random meaningless universe?)... it just DON’T ADD UP, such is the paradox! While dismissing all theistic faiths, they appear (from my humble observations) to have particular animus towards Christianity... go figure? The so-called “war” on Christmas continues and is ongoing as a subset of the disdain against all who subscribe to the “maker theory”… see Psalm 139 in the (alleged) Holy Bible for further detail.

In many of their ads and arguments, our atheist friends claim one can be “good” without God… true but, they must borrow their concept of what’s “good”. In the USA, the definition most observe (IMHO)… is of Judeo-Christian origin. Ya know the one (we suppose) delivered by God Somebody… in the (alleged) Holy Bible, the ancient document of which some find interest.

What’s funny (as in sheesh not ha-ha) and our great conundrum is how to be “good” when in the non-believer(aka: Law of the Jungle) world, there IS NO universal standard of what’s “good”? The Muslim Jihadist thinks it’s “good” to slaughter the infidel (folks like me) in large numbers for Allah… (I humbly must disagree with that standard). In Genesis 3:5 the Serpent beguiles Eve (and Adam) with the seductive promise that, once they eat of the “fruit on the tree of knowledge” they will "be as God, knowing good and evil". Turned out to be (partly) true as Adam, Eve (and all after) became sovereign souls… little “g” gods as it were ("knowing good and evil" only by THEIR definition). So in the pursuit of “good” we have up to six billion+ potential concepts of what’s “good”. Consensus becomes an issue… as many (if not most) of these ideas of “good” are in sometimes violent conflict with others… proven to be a bit of a problem! We have (at least) 10,000 years of history confirming this sad fact!

The (potentially sad) irony of our existence is we ALL, be we theist, pagan, New Ager and/or atheist are STUCK with an ultimate act of “faith” in our earthy sojourn. We must accept that a “miracle” of some kind occurred in the dim recesses of the past. One (hopefully with an explanation) that gave rise to all that is known as “us”… (and without “us” the rest doesn’t matter)! We actually know very little about this phenomenon we call the “known universe”... but we speculate much! The human condition has the (sometimes cruel) desire to figure stuff out… in fact it drives us NUTS. IMHO, the even BIGGER irony (and cruel to some) is, it only CAN make sense if there is creator God. The cosmic lawgiver who has defined the universal standard of “good”. But in His(her/its) generosity (and/or malice depending on one’s point of view) we mere mortals are permitted our own opinions. (Genesis 3:5 again).

The prime argument by the atheist is there "no evidence" of God's existence in the "known" universe (DNA is not good enough?)... as a rule I would conclude the atheist demands "proof" on his/her terms... God must submit to their will, not the other way around. I offer prominent and militant Richard Dawkins as exhibit "A".. But he hedges his bets a bit in the title of his article, then rambles on incoherently.

Trust Given but Cynically Destroyed! The Lie of "Progressives"!

Success and failure are in the eye of the beholder, so if damaging freedom and prosperity was the goal, president Obama and Democrat “Progressives” are extremely successful. If the well being of the people was the objective, they have indeed been an abysmal failure! Yesterday (11/2) the people pushed back a bit. In this push back we saw the slaughter of the "Blue Dogs". They were but lambs/pawns sacrificed on Obama and Nancy's altar of "change"... done in for the most part, by the actions of their own party's leadership and in outright disdain of their constituents wishes! ("Remember in November" to coin a phrase).

In the election of 2008, many hailed and hoped the USA had turned a great corner… electing the first minority president (how cool is that)! Barack Obama was given great trust by the American people… he promised to honor that trust. Given the presidency and large majorities in Congress he and the Democrats immediately destroyed that trust in a fusillade of bad and oft failed “progressive” policies… onerous freedom and prosperity wrecking legislation that to accomplish, required strong arm tactics and backroom deals (the very same actions that had given the GOP the well deserved boot)! But sadly, they did not (hope’n) change anything, but only increased and multiplied the misdeeds of the Bush administration.

President Obama and his “progressive” allies have now lost the great American middle, who they won in ’06 and ’08. So now to win (like Nevada?), they must resort to chicanery. The “progressive” 9th Circuit court in California overturned the Arizona requirement that voters prove citizenship… calling it an “undue burden”. Their march toward the “Plantation Nation” is unabated by such silly impediments as freedom and the Constitution! The wave of election 2010, hopefully stunted much of their "progessive" plans, but there's still much damage that can be done.

The dirty (notso) secret is… “Progressives” are of the mind the (ordinary us) “little people” (who they claim to love) are stupid and dangerous… and must managed, controlled and supervised. For most of human history this mindset has prevailed among nobles and rulers. The great experiment of the USA these last 200+ years is the marvelous exception… and cannot be tolerated! All this IMHO puts the lie to the word “progressive”. As they are REGRESSIVE (hence the “quotes”)… the exact opposite of what they claim!

Their “Progressivism” (aka: Socialism) survives only on promises... once under its tyranny, the folks too late realize the delivery of these promises is a far different matter! All is really just a huge Ponzi pyramid scheme... those in charge at the top live LARGE... the "regular" folks not so good. Innovation and creativity is frustrated and oppressed with bureaucracy multiplied to strangulation levels... the purpose to maintain the sacred status quo! To do and maintain this, control of information, education and the media is essential, as "progressives" require an ignornant, demorlaized and passive population to maintain control (hence hate and attempt to destroy Fox News and other non-controlled media!).

Human vices (especially those of the flesh) and "alternative life styles" are encouraged and glorified. Traditional Judeo-Christian faith, morality and marriage (man/woman kind) are discouraged, ridiculed and marginalized… the main vehicle for this being the now state-controlled "arts", entertainment and education industries (NPR etc.). Media "stars" are anointed and given conditional top tier pyramid status, based on their adherence to the "party line" (as the state has now replaced God, the rulers are often given godlike admiration by the selected media). Opposition media if allowed at all, is viciously attacked using such thuggish Orwellian named tactics as “fairness doctrine” “diversity” and now, “net neutrality”.

Those at the top of the pyramid continually agitate those below to be in constant conflict with each other... using all things cultural and ethnic to maintain the strife (so we don’t see that our common struggle is against these top pyramid "Bernie Madoff" types). Those of us among the "lessers" are fortunate if we can maintain a rationed subsistence... long lines for most everything among us “common” folk are the SOCIALIST “PROGRESSIVE” REALITY! (Note the recent toilet paper shortage in Cuba). However, to "comfort" us and assuage our misery we have the option of blaming our misfortune on the various “enemies of the day”! This could be big corporations, insurance companies, or even Fox News... but NEVER government!

One wonders why if "Progressivism" (Socialism) is so wonderful, why don’t Cuba, North Korea and Venezuela have an illegal immigrant problem? Seems to me they should have to build walls to keep people out! But their walls are designed to keep the people in! It’s amazing and oh so sad in America today, how many of our fellow citizens buy the PROMISE (of something for nothing) and not the REALITY (the aforementioned “rationed subsistence”) of "Progessive" Socialism! Go figure? Convinced that the (never delivered) promised good life of is “just around the corner” many become willing slaves to the oppressive Nanny state, marching into HELL with a smile on their face!!! As of now thankfully, many (and hopefully soon most) Americans are not cooperating, and resisting! God save us and bless the USA!

The Coming Democrat "Lame Duck" Tantrum?!

Those of us old enough remember the late Peter Jennings comments on the GOP victories in 1994, that resulted in control of Congress for the first time in 40 years. Remember he referred to those of us who voted out the ruling Democrats, as having a “tantrum”. Similar to petulant children (how dare we!).

Now to we are in 2010… and we the people again DARED to oppose the Liberals Socialist agenda, this time under President Obama’s direction. If the expected GOP wave overwhelms Congress as predicted … I fear the “Lame Duck” session will be one of the most vindictive legislative orgies ever inflicted upon a free people. “Cap and Tax”, Card check, tax increases 401K theft… God knows how bad it could get! Those who signed a "Pledge" not to do bad lame duck stuff, may soon forget their promise. Us uppity voters who DARED vote them out, will get our punishment! A Democrat congressional tantrum is a real possibility IMHO! The defeated Democrats will have nothing to lose, and may have revenge in their corrupt little hearts. Justa thought.

The Goose That Laid the Golden Egg (Obama Liberal version)

A (somewhat updated) Aesop Fable (how did he know ‘bout liberals 2,500 years ago?)

A man(Harry) and a woman(Nancy) had a very special goose. Every day the goose would lay a golden egg, which made them very rich... but the hard working goose’s efforts were not understood or appreciated. “Just think,” said Nancy, “If we could have all the golden eggs that are inside the goose at once, we could be richer much faster.” (Note: the “greedy” goose was clearly hoarding golden eggs and not willing to give her "fair share"!). “You’re right,” said Harry, “We wouldn’t have to wait for the goose to lay her egg every day.”

So, they killed the goose and cut her open, only to find that she was just like every other goose. She had no golden eggs inside of her at all, and they had no more golden eggs... and soon, near destitute, they went on welfare and demanded of the king(Hussein) that he force other people to kill their geese, just in case one had a supply of golden eggs. Lotsa geese died and no golden eggs were retrieved... but they kept killing geese cause they just KNEW one day if just the right people killed the goose… it would work!

Had they nurtured the goose and understood the needs of the goose, she would have given them years of prosperity… their greed and ignorance not only destroyed the goose, the engine of their prosperity, it eventually destroyed them!

T'was watching John Stossel's Fox News special "Battle for the Future" last night... about how unions, especially public employee unions and their government toadies are strangling the private sector with crippling taxes to fund huge salaries, benfits and expensive early retirements (the word parasite was used a lot)... it has inspired me to an open letter to our ruling cadre:

Mr. President as you and your fellow travelers currently controlling Congress, as well as many state and cities continue to saddle our future generations with ENORMOUS deficits and debt, with real and proposed tax increases on every aspect of life... please would you (could you?), Obama, Nancy, Harry and BIG Union bosses, take a moment and remember the first survival rule of ANY parasite: “Don’t kill your host!” As our first African-American president... I'll take the liberty to use an African example... the Turkana and neighboring African tribes are known to bleed their cattle, mix the blood with the milk for a large part their protein requirements. They are wise and understand much better than you and our Washington “leaders” that in order to keep doing this, THEY MUST KEEP THEIR CATTLE HEALTHY… and not drain so much blood they kill the beast! Also, unlike you and our current crop of public “servants” they revere and care for their “producers” … instead of heaping contempt upon them! Washington, BIG union, big city Democrat political machines... Please learn this lesson!

It’s said of and by politicians… “if ya rob Peter to pay Paul, you’ll always get Paul’s vote… until Peter runs outta money!” With that joke of a “stimulus” bill and your destructive spending, I think we’re there! (This “Peter” is tapped out!) You and our current crop of (mostly Democrat) politicos in the “puzzle palace” known as Washington D.C. seem to have bought this philosophy wholesale! You and the current D.C. “servants” need to seriously remember that to do your "wealth redistribution" plans, you gotta first have some wealth… and an engine to create future wealth. Otherwise your plan is a one-time event, soon to wither! You must allow “Peter” to keep enough of his/her hard-earned resources that he/she remains motivated to keep working and paying taxes! This sadly seems lost on you and most in Congress and unions!

The sad irony of your stimulus and gigantic spending is… our modern economies run only on confidence! With REAL value money (like tied to gold) long gone, confidence is all we have... Sooooo, when G.W. Bush way back in September 2008, and you now scream "we must pass this (stimulus, budget, healthcare plan, crap'n trade... etc.) or die!" it leads to the opposite of the (alleged) desired result... while supplying $pending it destroys the very confidence the economy needs! The first indicator is usually the world stock markets and employment… IMHO confidence is in short supply!

The sad “reality” is socialist governments (as you desire and I fear we are rapidly becoming) only function when the people are willing to work for the “greater good” which essentially is working for nothing! People have a nasty habit of not wanting to do this… until we can break the “bad” habit of folks working for their own interest (and not yours), socialist experiments are doomed to failure! When you bankrupt us "Peters" ... "Paul" is still gonna want his handout, and may riot in the streets if it's not given (remember Greece)! NEVER Make a Political Party... Your "Team"!

Today politically we have a Left (GOP) and Left-er (DEM) dialog. Very little Right is involved (IMHO). Governments by nature lean left... as there is a constant temptation to concentrate, centralize and expand power. The founders understood this... but our Constitution will only hold if WE THE PEOPLE defend it. That’s why both parties use any and all efforts to divide.

Race, sex, class, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation… anything to take minds off you’re getting hosed! Control us “lessers”, and keep them fighting with each other so we don’t notice we’re being played for suckers. I figure the “liberal” loves their family as much as I love mine… so who’s divided? The divisions are carefully cultivated.

So I advocate you NEVER make a political party your “team” (like Yankees/Red Sox, etc.). If and when “they” win it feels good for awhile as you bask in a reflected glory… BUT they really don’t have your welfare in mind. In fact it can be VERY expensive to "serve" your “team” (high price of tickets, stadium food/drinks, team paraphernalia and such).

But, your team cannot force you to financially support them… when your “team” is a political party they CAN when they take power. They can tax, regulate and attack ALL! (Think of Yankee fans forced to financially support the Red Sox?). So unlike your fave sports team, you better play close attention to your (so-called) representatives and understand what’s going on… are they really serving your interest? I never get too excited when “my side” wins… because they usually let me down, and they really DON’T have my best interest at heart. Only a coupla times have I ever allowed a political sign in my yard… once a favor for my neighbor (a lib) running for local office… (didn’t vote for him… but don’t tell!), and recently to a co-worker running for city office (may vote for him).

Candidates and their handlers understand the TEAM thing (aka “bandwagon”) and often sell themselves like a sports team (don’t we often place our desires on our local athletic heroes?). The Obama campaign with its media cheerleaders, allowed all to “remake” Obama in their “image” (from he’s gonna “cut” my taxes and punish the evil “rich”… to “He’s gonna buy me a new car!”). The reality was carefully hidden from us all… like the always “wait to next year” hopes, folks were encouraged to replace the figure of Barack Obama with their own desires.

I have never been to a candidate rally… (sadly, I usually vote AGAINST not FOR)… however, I have recently enthusiastically attended a coupla TEA Party events, and may support candidates with similar philosophies. But I be paying attention when they reach office! Something (????) once office is gained seems to rob Democrats of their minds and Republicans of their spines… GO FIGURE???

It as curious to you as it is to me, why some of the biggest pushers of the socialist/fascist Obama/Pelosi/Reid Nanny State agenda are among mega-rich? Like the glamorous Hollyweird types, Warren Buffett and even some of the Silicon Valley gazzionaires... what do they know that we don't? In my observations the socialist/fascist state IS much like an antebellum southern plantation! The "limousine liberals" that run the place are the “chosen” and are “better” people… who “care” greatly for all of us... the great unwashed. These “chosen” know most of us ordinary folk won’t spend our money and live our lives our lives like we should… so they must, for our own good, essentially ration our freedom to keep us in line! This is why liberals like Obama, Pelosi and Reid ALWAYS side with the tyrants of the world!

Like all socialists/fascists rulers, the old southern plantation owner confiscated the slaves produce and redistributed it to himself… allowing only a mere subsistence for the worker (slave). Remember, when politicians advocate “redistribution of wealth” they ALWAYS tend redistribute to themselves first! You get the promise they get the goods! (Or to paraphrase late country singer Jerry Reed “they get the goldmine… you get the shaft”)! Karl Marx lamented that the worker owns little and has only his labor to sell… and ironically the Marxist (plantation owner) steals even that! The hated capitalist at least has to negotiate a market price with the laborer... not the case for the socialist... by definition all is owned (including the worker) by the State (Plantation).

President Obama, the Democrat congress (and RINOs), "Climate Change" Peace Prize huckster AlGore (every bit as crooked as Bernie Madoff), along with most of the media/Hollyweird gang, are now poster children for this coming "Plantation Nation". They are the perfect example of "do what I say, not what I do" (remember AlGore’s electric bill?)... this harkens one back to that less proud time in our history, the "Old South" of antebellum times… a time when the “select elect” masters lived in the “Mansion on the Hill” and the slaves dwelled in the mud huts.

Side-script 1: Tyranny always needs crisis to establish itself... As to “Global Warming/Climate Change” could it be what we have here is sorta kinda a 21st Century version of the pagan explanation that our mishaps are a result of “angry gods” (aka: "offending" Mother Earth)?
In the past thousands of years earthquakes, storms and other assorted catastrophes have required sacrifices of virgins, children and other unfortunate folks to appease these angry gods! Note the high priests and shamans demanding these “necessary” sacrifices rarely were it victims.

The bitter irony is our first African-American (black) president is leading the charge to create this 21st century “Plantation Nation”! With the economic disasters of “Cap and Trade” and government “Health Care” on the horizon... fighting “global warming” (err… “Climate Change”), soon to be rationed health care and the incremental strangulation of the private sector (by “Czars” and hyper-bureaucrats), will soon put most of our freedom on ice! Soon we best learn to make the most of the one to two hours of rationed power each day. With the “Crap and Destroy Trade” policy of no nuke, no coal, no gas, no oil, no biomass… how do we maintain our lifestyles? But as we sleep each night in discomfort (no heat, no AC, can’t burn wood… CO2 ya know)… and when we are told by a government czar our lives are “not worth” what it CO$T to cure our illnesses, we will be comforted to know that our sacrifice “saves” Mother Earth and keeps healthcare costs down (Thanky Master)! But remember... our "leaders (rulers)" in Washinton D.C. (plantation owners?) will not be burdened by any of these constraints as they have exempted themselves from these and most laws imposed on us "lessers".

Note: if the recent "Healthcare" back room deals are any indication, "the (Liberal) Rich" (Big Union, Big Lawyer, etc.) and other "Big Democrat" donor$ can also carve their own personal exemption from whatever larceny our D.C. rulers cook up for us mere mortals... (fascism?).

Side Script 2: What's the difference between a "Health Czar" determining your "worth to society" before allowing treatment for whatever ails you... and an antebellum plantation owner deciding if an injured slave is worth saving or shooting? Not much! Welcome to ObamaCare and ObamaNation/Plantation Nation!

Admired "Great leaders" like Fidel Castro are worth billion$ while his people struggle in poverty! He’s the plantation owner. Now we have "Castro with an oil plantation" Hugo Chavez who has promoted himself to "Fuhrer of Venezuela". I do not accept the Gay lifestyle as normal, as my Christian faith does not condone homosexuality. But my Savior instructs me to love all, including Gays. When I waded into the recent controversy, defending Ann Coulter from being dropped by World Net Daily, I caught HELL from many fellow Christians and conservatives! I remember and invoke the great “Renuldus Maximus” on a similar controversy:

Ronald Reagan’s logic was on display in a statement addressing criticism on accepting contributions from Log Cabin Republicans… (paraphrased: “I’m not signing onto their agenda… they are signing on to mine. Lower taxes, less government is good for all, including Gays”). How politically right on IMHO! After we defeat the Socialists/Fascists stranglehold, we can work out our differences! If my house in on fire and someone rushes in to help rescue my family, I am NOT going to question their race, religion or sexual orientation… I’m gonna be grateful for their courage and assistance!

"Independents" Curse of the Muddy Middle - or... How We Got Obama

As we head to November, recent polls suggest Democrats and President Obama losing “Independent” voters. This after overwhelmingly winning them in 2006 and 2008, resulting in election victory. Reasons for this decline are given as primarily the still struggling economy and lack of results of stimulus and other promised big government “solutions”. Who are these “independents” and why do they seem to always flip-flop in their support for the major parties?

In my years of observing "independents" I have determined they are essentially moral and political cowards... go with the flow! They are smart enough to know that liberal idiocy leads to trouble, but they also seem to have a deep need to be "hip" and not “offend”... so they are very driven by popular culture and media (which always trend left), and prone to succumb to political correctness. Sadly these fickle "independents" decide who wins elections, and have all too short memories of liberal failure… so they are generally unreliable and demand to be always courted.

So like Charlie Brown with Lucy holding the football... they know better but still get seduced by Obama type rhetoric of “fair”, “change” and other campaign BS... cause it's the "NewBig Thing" or in Obama’s case first minority president “historic” (historically bad)!

BUT!!! They will respond to REAL and bold leadership! The great Renaldus Maximus overwhelmingly won these people (although they wouldn’t admit it to their liberal friends!). Sadly his example is lost on most of today’s GOP (with the possible exception of Sarah Palin). Remember in 1976, Ronald Reagan was dismissed and treated much the same as Palin is today. Who knows what the future brings, but IMHO it is an interesting parallel.

4th of July Salute to Our Great Leader!

On this July 4th (happy 234th USA!)… I RedneckoBlogger humbly salute our president and Congress! Let us take a few moments to be thankful, as we observe the incredible display of leadership by President Barak Obama as we endure the Gulf oil disaster… his quick decisions such as choosing not to lift the Jones Act (protects maritime labor unions), that would’ve allowed the world’s best oil cleanup technology to be quickly deployed (we should learn union boss's wishes are MUCH more important than a few beaches and gulf state’s economies).

To see our best government bureaucrats halting cleanup efforts ‘cause the “correct” life jackets (maybe not union made?) aren’t on the ships, or the paperwork is not “properly” filled out takes our breath away! The clever delay of deploying containment booms pending “environmental” studies, which may take weeks even months! (insert oil gushing video here).

Also we greatly admire that his ultimate “solution” to all this is to pass “Cap and Trade” and other top-down legislation to would ration energy and make it much more expensive!(needed to put us greedy Americans in our “place”)… but it’s OK we will spend more taxpayer trillion$ on untested so-called “green” energy (GE's loving it!). His great wisdom is so profound as he knows if we just pass “comprehensive immigration reform” that oil well would dry right up… of this we can be sure! Our great leader inspires us ALL!

As one also observes his great leadership on the economy, the "overseas contingency operation" and the success of all the $imulu$ trillions… we wait in breathless anticipation of when any of us might need (upon approval of our government healthcare tsar) a life-saving critical, expensive and timely medical procedure. Welcome to 21st century Amerika… it’s so good!

This spill in the Gulf of Mexico is an unprecedented catastrophe, but let’s us learn to prevent future such accidents, before we condemn our "black gold". Deepwater Horizon was a high-risk endeavor that resulted from prohibitions against drilling at safer depths, and if BP was negligent they should and will pay. If history is our guide, we can be confident drilling technology will greatly improve and these disasters will become less and less likely. Truth is... we cannot abandon this great gift of the "fossil fuels". We may idealize the lifestyles of past centuries but the reality was much different and I presume much dirtier than today.

Petroleum and the so-called “fossil fuels” (coal, natural gas, etc.) are among the greatest gifts ever given to the human race by Mother Earth (maybe even God)! They have been used to produce thousands of useful products… motor fuels to medicine to many of the building materials that make our houses homes. There are also used for uncountable other life benefitting miracles we cannot imagine! With the passing of time and the accumulation of knowledge and experience, they also have become more and more “clean” energy.

Most of human history has been a struggle to survive, with the large majority of people barely eaking out a subsistance. The discovery and development of these “fossil fuels” have been a main engine that have fueled (pun intended) our enormous increase in prosperity, over these last 100 years or so! Fact is... they are the keystones of it! What’s one of the biggest reasons for their success? They have been amazingly cheap and efficient for most of our history! Yet one wonders, why do more and more of otherwise seemingly intelligent people now desire to bite this hand that feeds us so well? They bleat on and on about their dreams of “alternatives” as if their Pollyanna dreams will just make it so. So far all these “alternatives” are prohibitively expensive and will be so for the foreseeable future. Wind farms require hundreds of acres to produce a fraction of the energy of the “fossil fuel”… the land costs alone make it not practical. Solar cells take years to recover the cost of their installation… and the suns gotta shine. Otherwise no go!

Living "green" is seriously costly! The amount of time and labor it took 100 years ago to put food on the table was mucho/mucho times that of today. To compare think of a fast food burger costing $25 or more, and you get the drift of the amount of labor that was involved! Living “green” and “off the grid” are options ONLY for the richest among us... the poor man cannot afford it. It is VERY expensive to maintain that “morally superior, I’m better than you attitude”. No thanks!

Such is the result of death threats from radical Muslims. Radical Islam the “Religion of Pieces” has intimidated most of the (il)liberal western world. Western media who would blow a gasket if any other faith made such a threat (i.e. thunders against "violent" TEA Partiers), but meekly and dutifully reports in their defacto role as "mouthpiece" of Islamists. President Obama and our government is very timid in its treatment of Iran and other totalitarian Islamic regimes. Makes me wonder… if in fact… has the (alleged west hating) and once great Muslim faith been compromised by western Marxist thought? Bottom line (oh could it be?) … is modern Islamo-terror is just a repackaged warmed-over Marxism? Has the “religion of pieces” become the international “enforcer” of all ideologies of the left? Or maybe they are just fellow travelers... brothers in tyranny. Sidescript: "Brothers" is used here as women have such low status in Islam... the only place it's tolerated by western Leftists, who "care" so much (in all other cases) for the "rights" of women... if ya don't believe me, ask Franklin Graham!

Been looking over the car ads in the local newsrag… boy, look at all the “specials” low down payments and big (alleged) “rebates” Just dunno if I can swing it???

Back in the “goodle” days of 1966 my dad was earning a very respectable salary of $12,000 per year. He bought a new car… a Plymouth Belvedere, with V8 engine, AT, AC, AM Radio and those new fangled seat belts… pretty tricked out for the day. Purchase price was around $3,000, 25% of his annual salary. Served us well as we drove it for 20 years (sold it in ’86 for $400).

In the meantime, these past 40+ years we got lotsa “good” government “oversight” with pollution and (alleged) safety improvements and the infamous CAFÉ standards, which has surely added mucho $$$ to the price. Nowadays in 2010, a small town attorney of my dad’s standing may be earning $100k or so… 25% of that would be $25,000, which may get you a 4-cyinder compact of some kind.

Since most folks today don’t make a $100k… (including me) new wheels are much more expensive even in an inflation adjusted way than back in the day… when 3-years was about the average car loan time. Today the purchase of a new car is similar to buying a house back in the sixties… loan times are 5 years and longer, as even modest vehicles and trucks often sail past $35,000 or more! The seduction has become the “easy monthly payment” (still more than my first house payment)... that goes on LONG after the car is likely on the junk heap! It’s INSANE, I tell ya! I Sit down to watch the news and the TV talking heads wonder why car sales are way down, and the government has to bail out car companies and do other stupid stuff like “Cash for Clunkers”? With the outrageous automobile prices nowadays, you don’t own the new car it owns you!!!

No thanks! Honey, I’m fueling up the clunker and we’ll drive her till she clunks plum out!

Believe me! It's all a ruse, a 'headfake'. There are NO moderate DemWits left (or should I say they're ALL LEFT!) This is PURE political theater, this pretending to be mad about his NO vote! Healthcare summit revisited... The Clueless, the Cluelesser and Moby Dick!

Our president Barak H. Obama has reached full MOBY DICK mode in his healthcare pursuit! Like captain Ahab in Melville's classic, he has become so obsessed with the White Whale (err... elephant?) of "Healthcare Reform" that he will sacrifice all to achieve his "progressive" dream of socialized medicine! He is prepared to turn (alleged) moderate “Blue Dogs” into political suicide bombers...and risk destroying his party and his presidency...(and worst yet, the country)! Note to Blue Dogs: if you follow your "Imam" in his "fatwa" of "Healthcare Reform" you DESERVE your destruction! The term "Blue Dog Democrat" will forever become a CURSE on the lips of the American people!!!

Having said that, I hafta admit it was hard to watch President Obama’s health "summit" (But I made myself!). Funny thing, I only found it boring when president Obama and the Dems were talking (sob stories cubed!)... the GOP stuff I found engaging and interesting, and IMHO extremely damaging to the President’s cause. It occurred to me an hour or so in to the ordeal, that the Democrats were deliberately being boring as to discourage most Americans from watching. The GOP cleaned their clocks and ate their lunch! Being unbearably boring... now that’s a strategy for you!!! President Obama and his Dems comrades appear to be clueless that the jig's up! Most all their agenda is unraveling from this healthcare debacle to climate change and especially the economy... don’t they know we're on to 'em? Of all the DemWit nitwittery, and mega sob stories on display, Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) was the most pathetic, with his odd lost in the wilderness rambling about "segregation". The Senate bill which he champions, has so many special backroom deals cut for unions, lawyers and other Democrat pet constituencies that I feel "segregated" big time!!!...from the goodies I don’t get, but have to pay for! (they get the gold mine, I get the shaft!... to paraphrase the late Jerry Reed)!!! It's common knowlage Pres. Obama and the Democrat party are much obligated to Andrew Stern president and chief thug of the large Service Workers International Union (SEIU), as well as to most other big labor unions. Why do they seriously want this "reform"? Other then just being nitwit socialists in love with totalitarian power, I speculate the special deals for union members exempting taxes on "Caddilac" health plans could serve as a "backdoor card check", forcing folks into unions to avoid punitive taxes on their plans. (Hmmm... BUT will the union dues be cheaper than the taxes? Maybe a little at first???).

It takes me back yet again to my oft repeated "Ponzi'” scam conclusions (1). Bottom line, I saw yet again a President and party in full "Chicago" bully mode... only this time they were challenged, something they do not know how to deal with... so play the BORING card and run out the clock!

Recycling is good! Honest debate is better... but not without risk! First posted a coupla years back, now re-submitted with a few additional comments.

If someone disagrees with Darwinism they're an ignorant fool! How do you know they’re an ignorant fool? 'Cause they disagree with Darwinism. How do you know their facts are wrong? Because their facts don't support Darwinism.

When one looks at the universe and chooses to turn their brain on, and their rebellion/prejudices off… one would conclude there is some seriously good programming involved. Every act of Earth’s creatures is a result has purpose, survival and reproduction. As biologists delve more and more into the inner workings of the cell, one is astonished at the complexity of its operation… nothing simple about it! This has inspired honest reflection by many scientists, this honesty I add not without risk, due to the current atheistic dogma in the biological “establishment” (Dogma that attacks and censors ANY opposing view).

The dogmatic evolutionists clearly see (but deny) that the rug has been pulled from under them, but their materialism is so ingrained that they now commonly twist themselves into pretzels trying to deny the obvious… that life is FAR too complicated to be an accident! (Hence the term ID Denier!). The irony of this is that they maybe (kinda) right on evolution… it has occurred! It’s just that all productive “mutations” fulfilled a purpose, that improves the survivability of the species (and that’s good… whatever “good” is). Taint no accident… a true example of evolution: say the horseless carriage to the modern race car, or the Wright Brothers flyer to the space ship, all occurred as a result of external intelligent input, based on things learned from earlier examples. Information that is used to improve the next version of the beast, (be it mechanical or biological).

The obvious (IMHO) fact … this universe is the product of an infinite intelligence, that for some reason, is not palatable to many so-called evolutionary “scientists”. This has caused an interesting phenomenon… the morphing of evolutionary “science” into a religion, complete with high priests (Sagan, Gould, Dawkins, etc.). Their devotion is much more akin to religion that science, because under NO circumstances can their “theology” be disproved… it’s a matter of faith, beyond the realm of science… as new facts demonstrating the irreducible complexity of life are revealed, they are promptly denied (and previously noted, often repressed and censored)!

As “they” say, denial is not just a river in Egypt… it creates a blinding impediment the so-called “scientific method”. ID Deniers… open thine eyes and thy minds! (At least to honest debate).

To prove I "care" and in the spirit of being “green” and of recycling, I shall re-use some points from earlier posts (click numbers), as they cannot (IMHO) be overstated!

I hafta admit ‘twas fun watching REAL scientist and meteorologist Joe Bastardi undress with the facts phony “science guy” (plays one on TV) Bill Nye last night (2/22/10) on Fox's O’Reilly! Nye’s “don’t confuse me with the facts” bleetings were pathetic! By the end of the segment "science guy" Nye was reduced to filibuster! He demonstrated for all to see, why "Global Warming/Climate Change” (GW/CC) appears to have morphed into a “religion”.

OK, Maybe for Nye and many brain-challenged "rent-a-mob" nitwits is has, but NOT for the leaders (aka: perps!). For GW/CC poster child Al Gore and his gang supported by their media/academia allies, it was to be their own personal ultra-cynical Ponzi scam... possibly the biggest one EVER attempted (1)! Gore and all, thought it was carefully crafted BUT... now all the "science" is unraveling at a dizzying pace! So now its’ proponents are following the Joseph Goebbels formula “when your lies don’t work LIE HARDER, LIE BIGGER”!!! So (IMHO) it's NOT a religion, but it sure PLAYS ONE ON TV! Its’ leadership (perps) have for years spread the panic of rising oceans, dead polar bears and melting glaciers with the ONLY “solution” being surrender our prosperity and liberty to a tyrannical international uber-bureaucracy resembling the "Star Chamber" (2). They were all gonna get mega-rich and powerful!!! Us folks who I call the "lessers" were to live a strictly enforced rationed subsistence, devoid of prosperity or liberty... but "Mother Earth" would be saved!!!!!

The perps... our modern ”Progressives” (aka: Socialist, Fascist, Commie) are anything but progressive, ('cause tyranny is NOT progress)! They skillfully and constantly use the seduction of envy and alleged “wealth re-distribution” along with a generous portion of “Leftie approved greed” (like taking from the EVIL rich and giving to you... except only a trickle ever gets to you??!!). What puzzles me is almost all of the so-called “progressive” leadership from Hollyweird to overpaid professors are among the richest among us… so I must conclude there’s “approved” rich… Hollywierd and media types who hang out with Castro and Chavez (this includes Al Gore, Shawn Penn, Tim and Susan, Katie and most MSM media types). This puts most successful Americans into the “unapproved” rich category… those who work their butts off and actually produce stuff! They are constantly vilified (though most our wealth is but a fraction of theirs… go figure???), and selected for punishment. Like ole Serpent in the Garden… “Progressives” make promises that they NEVER intend to keep… a seduction (emotion over logic) with similar results. The modern “Progressive” has FAR more in common with Al Capone and John Gotti than Marx or Lenin… they are no more than gangsters with government as enforcer! While railing against “greed” (3) they are the worst of the greedy… not only do they want MORE (more power, taxes, regulation) they want YOU to have LESS (rationed energy, healthcare, liberty)… the modern welfare/socialist state is not much different than an antebellum slave plantation (4). Sadly they already have much of the population "enslaved" (5). President Obama in his SOTU speech essentially told America: "I know what’s best for you! So sit yer sorryazz down shut-up, gimme yer wallet and buzz off!" ...and, of course (insert here:) "It’s all Bush’s fault" (6).

But a fly is in the ointment. Most Americans are just NOT that damn stupid… while many initially bought the media driven Obama myth, enough to get him elected… (although with John McCain there wasn’t much real choice) it appears to have dissipated! Have we a great Obama and liberal miscalculation? Americans no matter their political bent, REFUSE to be anything but prosperous and will not accept anything but liberty. It didn’t take long for all but the most cultic Obama voters to figure out what was promised (7) was not gonna be delivered!.

With the recent election reversals in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts, one might hope President Obama and the Congressional leadership would have a “Clinton” moment and move toward the center… but this does not appear to be the case (not even a head fake?!)… he is busy in yet another attempt at seduction, through a “bipartisan” ruse in yet another effort to push his agenda of tyranny! DON’T BUY IT (I now don’t think you will)! Much of this may wear the veneer of "religion" but it is NOT! Be it “Global Climate Change”, “Crap’n Trade” or “Healthcare Reform” the Obama “progressive” agenda is no more than Bernie Madoff on super steroids!!! We at the bottom of this humongous pyramid will LOSE BIG!

As President Obama submits his 2011 budget to Congress... $3.83 TRILLION!!!!! ($3,830,000,000,000)... (a third of which is deficit)… I can discern from my calculations the MOST expensive commodity in the universe is a single U.S. vote!

Q: Why? (Jusferfun)… If 3,000 years ago you lived in Egypt and went into the pyramid business and you were a HORRIBLE businessperson and lost $100 a SECOND ($8.64 million a day)… for these last 3,000 years… how many more years from today would it take to lose the current U.S, national debt of $12.3 Trillion, assuming it stopped growing today?

A : If we add no more to the debt ((Currently approximately $3.8 BILLION is added daily)… our pyramid business would take 895 more YEARS to lose $12.3 Trillion ($12,292,968,100 as of 10:50 AM, 2-2-2010)… so we’d be done in the year 2905… (except in the time it took to write this an additional $20,000,000 or so was added!) Whew... it has cost YOU, your kids (and me) as of now... about $40,000, for your friendly Washington D.C. politician to "buy" enough votes to stay in office, live like royalty and tell you... "we" must all "sacrifice"!

Don’t need to waste much cyber-ink on this but… What I heard from his SOTU speech was Pres Obama essentially telling me and the American people... "I know best! So sit yer sorryazz down shut-up, open yer wallet and buzz off!" ...and, of course (insert here:) "It’s all Bush’s fault".

After blaming every conceivable problem and mishap on the previous administration, and taking credit for “saving” us with His wonderful gazzilion dollar $timuula$ (His claim of "miyons" of jobs "saved" are almost ALL in the guvmint & union sector). He then began a harangue of His usual hyper-left drivel, including an unprecedented chastisement of the Supreme Court justices who dared defy tyranny and re-establish the First Amendment! (free speech is so quaint… SOOO 20th century yesterday!) Then proceeded in various references to Me, Me, Me and I, I, I, and back to Me, Me, Me and how if we only could understand He "cares" for us (I 'spose progressive fascism is good for us "lessers") and that His policies will make us better and do “right”(err…left?… this whole liberty thing is SOOO overrated, plus we are too stupid to know what's good for us!). His “plan” to help the beloved sacred suffering “middle-class” is basically “you do exactly what I say… (jump thru my hoops) and I may (...may) reward you by allowing to keep a tiny tad more of what you produce” (gee thanx! I feel it up or maybe down, my laig!).

I did agree with one point however… He is kinda right about “Climate Change”… the “Climate” more and more each day is changing to… STOP this man and his party’s idiocy before it destroys all we have! That’s hope’n change I can live with!

The amazing thing is how He squeezed it all of it into just an hour anna half... taciturn ain't he!

Lesson for POTUS Obama! Ronald Reagan was a TRUE "Bipartisan"!

As our great beloved supreme leader President Barack Obama, prepares his State of the Union Speech… he won't be we should pause (IMHO), and recall GREATNESS … and be reminded of the true meaning of “bipartisan”! I pray everyday for President Obama… that he soon will have a “Damascus Road” experience with the spirit of the great one… “Renuldus Maximus” (Kinda like 42nd President Bill “What’s bigger, my ego or my libido” Clinton, who after the kerplunk ’94 mid-terms, tacked center-right with success). Lord, I tried!... many times since Obama’s election, I have screamed advice at my TV… ” Mr. President, talk like Karl Marx if you must… but govern like Reagan, and (in spite of Rush Limbaugh) you will succeed”! Dunno why(???), but he’s missed my sincere advice somehow so far!

40th President Ronald “Renuldus Maximus” Reagan was the last TRUE bipartisan president! Upon taking office in 1981 (faced with similar economic circumstances as today), he told House Speaker and Uber-Liberal Tip O’Neil and the Democrats… “Go along with my plan, and you can also share credit for the success!” For this, of course the DemWit Leftnoids and media HATED him!!! But it didn’t matter, the PEOPLE (including the “Reagan Democrats”) LOVED him! His market-based policies and tax cuts boomed the economy for two decades! His winning 49 states (in 1984), is (IMHO) the very definition of “bipartisan” (Note: ole Mondull won his own state, Minnesota by less than 4,000 votes, barely preventing a 50-state sweep!). Reagan knew… instead of compromising your core beliefs, you convince the folks your way is better! (Obama has yet to “succeed” at this!) No one did this better than the great Renuldas! But SADLY (how was this lesson lost to GOP?), the recent GOP’s “core beliefs” have just been “LibLight”. Brings back the great question of our times... What in Washington DC (water, air, money?) robs Democrats of their minds... and Republicans of their spines???

As to the joke of the Obama’s administration’s (alleged) “War on Terror” (aka: International Contingency Plan?)... unlike many, I have always thought the so-called (lib-named) "infamous Iran-Contra scandal" was the great Renaldus Maximus' greatest foreign policy success! (WHY?)… He succeeded in getting our two biggest enemies in the Mideast Iran/Iraq to fight EACH OTHER for eight long bloody years! His administration sold arms and gave aide to whichever side was losing at the moment... then used the proceed$ to help fight the Commies in Central America...all while being the "amiable dunce" BRILLIANT!!!! Oh... you could FEEL the hate dripping from the Democrats and the LEFT media as Reagan de-constructed their “sacred” Marxist (evil) Empires! Congressional Democrats, eager to discredit (and possibly impeach?), Reagan called hearings on the “outrage” of Iran-Contra. All looked SOOOO good until Lt. Col. Oliver North handed them their collective (they do loved that term – “Collective”) asses, during his televised 1987 testimony… (T’was a thing of beauty Ollie!)

Remember... to finance their war machines Iran/Iraq had to pump a lotta oil... prices fell where gas was around 75-80 cents a gallon! AND (except for disastrous ill-advised State Department inspired Beirut fiasco)… they were so busy hating and slaughtering each other (for Allah, BTW) they pretty much left us alone for dang near a decade!!!

Note: IMHO had Reagan not listened to his State Department, I don’t think the Marine Barracks bombing, one of his few failures woulda happened… I admit speculating, but we know the State Department (then & now) is full of leftie-weenies!

The Islamo-Nuts that infect our world are gonna hate and murder somebody… Reagan understood this! He and his administration worked, and succeeded in encouraging 'em kill EACH OTHER (in LARGE numbers!)… sending lotsa of potential suicide/homicide bombers to Allah! I imagine it musta caused a REAL strain (and possible shortage?) of virgins in Islamo-Paradise!

Sweet memories as they are, we must return to 2010. Bummerly, (a RNB word)... I suspect President Obama will only offer tepid (BEE-ESSIE) proposals in his upcoming State of the Union “show”. I figure his disdain for all things Good’n Godly, and core American values such as freedom, self-reliance, market solutions (ya know Reagan stuff… things that might actually work!) is SO INGRAINED, that he and his fellow “Progressives” (how Orwellian a word) cannot overcome it! So... in spite of his obvious failure to implement (and the people's rejection of), his hyper-left agenda in his first year, and in the midst of continuing economic morass... he'll most likely offer us only more empty platitudes, condescension and “happy leftist nitwittery talk" (the one thing he has succeeded at). Can November get here quick enough?!?!?

The Supreme Court’s ruling, Citizen United v. Federal Elections Commission… is most notable in how it really PO’d the hard core liberals, “Progressives” and Statists (most politicians, media, etc., are in a RAGE!!!!)… as we hear rants against this overturing of "precedent"! The "precedent" overturned is a lotta (totally anti-free speech) "Incumbent Protection" acts passed over the last 100 years or so... so it HAS to be good!

Social Security and Medicare are often held up as government successes... they are popular (with the recipients) as are most OPM (Other People’s Money) programs… BUT they are going broke just like ANY Ponzi scam eventually does! Then we get a 2,000+ page “Healthcare Reform” (Orwellian isn’t it!) ... thankfully the folks appear to be catching on (we hope)!

The bottom line is ALWAYS the bottom line... CO$T. Cost rations care, be it insurance company of government. You can fight, and maybe win, with the insurance company... good luck fighting the government! When socialized medicine "infects" the country, then faceless government WILL get between you and you doctor... "they" are gonna determine your care based on your “worth” to society… are you young enough, healthy enough, skilled enough to “contribute” to the “public good” if not… here’s some pain pills (maybe). How is that any different than a Antebellum plantation owner deciding if an injured slave is worth saving? Or just shoot ‘em and put ‘em outta their (and my) misery!

Things I shoulda done... I dunno if I coulda, but I wish I wouda... copyrighted the
F-(bomb) word years back. Two good things coulda happened, every time Hollywood wanted to use it, they would hafta pay me... (could run into the gazillion$). Or, to avoid payment they wouldn’t use the word, and I could take my kids to the movies more often. Bummer, I didn’t think of it sooner!

And finally... Lefties and the War on Terror? Fellow travelers... "Down for the Struggle"???

Many Americans (like me!) often lament and are frustrated by the lack of a united front against our current enemies... ya know... like we had as a nation in World War II. Geez, even Hollywood and the “Media” were on board! What is forgotten... (insert history lesson here), is this unity did not occur at first… communists and socialists in the West from 1939-41, were at best lukewarm, and at worst hostile to British/French resistance to Germany. This was a result of the 1939 non-aggression pact signed by Germany and the U.S.S.R. which gave Hitler the green light to attack Poland, an invasion later joined by the Ruskies. This pact also prompted and permitted the Soviets to attack Finland.

All changed on June 22, 1941, when Hitler betrayed the non-aggression pact at attacked the Soviet Union. When their precious “worker’s paradise” was in danger of collapse, the world's Lefties/Commies joined the war effort, thus we were “united”. President Roosevelt, along with many in his administration, also had a soft spot for the “great socialist experiment”, and were ever more anxious, to involve the U.S. in the war. Conveniently Japan accommodated on December 7, 1941, and World War II , the great liberal war, was in full fury!

Now we forward to today 2010… and many of us are flummoxed at the lack of enthusiasm and dedication modern Leftists (Er… "progressives", liberals) starting with the Obama administration, are displaying in our “World War” against Jihadists… their "progressive" little hearts just don’t seem to be in it!

Why???? Could it be… (say it ain’t so Mr. President!)… that modern Islamo-terror is just a repackaged warmed-over Marxism? Terror has always been a tool of the modern Leftist (Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler, Castro, Mao and Pol Pot to name a few) ... Pause a moment and recall such past “revolutionary freedom fighters” as the Europe based Baader-Meinhof Gang, Revolutionäre Zellen (RZ) and Red Army Faction. All proudly proclaimed and violently advanced their Marxist ideology. Remember in July 1976, these western Communist terrorists allied with the Islamic Palestine Liberation Front (PLF) in the infamous hijack of Air France flight 139 to Entebbe, Uganda.

Mass murder for terror was perfected in the leftist totalitarian ideologies of Communism, Fascism and Nazism that sadly "infected" much of the 20th century! Islamo-terroism takes the worst from these aforementioned “isms” and wraps it in a thin veneer of Islam. Pay attention, and note most ALL modern Islamo-terrorists (especially the leaders) have been western educated. They come to the west to get "education", attend our “fine” God, capitalism and liberty hating universities… and hear rants from the resident Commie professor how terrible America and the west are! That infused with their backward culture and leaders skilled at turning despair into rage… is a sure-fire formula that morphs into mass murder!

Now I am the first to realize Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and Imperial Japan’s evil desires for the world had to be defeated, BUT… the irony is, four years and 55+ million dead later, the U.S.S.R. was free of all serious totalitarian competitors. AND… for the next 45 or so years they would threaten world peace and freedom, and somehow… manage to SEDUCE most of the West’s egotistic “intellectuals”. These “intellectuals”… now in the “socialist wilderness” grabbed hold desperately for any replacement to their lost Commie "blanket". They now support (or secretly sympathize with) all things anti-American, anti-freedom and anti-JudeoChristian, including modern Islamo-Fascism, which ironically (like Communism) upon gaining power, will destroy THEM first! Go figure… I think Lenin called them useful idiots.

Back to our look at the Obama administration… Why do they oh so reluctantly fight the war against the Islamists (they don't even want to call it a war)? Politically incorrect as it may be… I find myself speculating this could be because, deep down in their corrupt little liberal “progressive” hearts they kinda admire these Islamo “revolutionaries”… why else would they want to grant them full American citizen rights???!!! Do the math! It only “adds up” when you realize they have a bizzare twisted kinship… and are in many aspects fellow travelers (Marx)!!!

While not likely, this "unity" could occur again... ‘cause Iran and Al-Qaeda appear to prove my point as they are “in bed” with “worker’s paradises” like North Korea, Cuba and Venezuela (I think China's getting too capitalist to qualify). But, just for fun… speculate that like Hitler, Iran and/or Al-Qaeda betrayed and DID attack North Korea, Cuba and/or Venezuela… the lefties might again wanna join in the war effort. Hell, even Jimmah Carter, MSNBC or the New York Times might wanna fight, and even like World War II, Hollywood would again be on our side! Once again united against the common enemy! (sigh!).

But... IMHO, I don’t think any of us will live to see it!

I want to order “Affordable Health Care” (but hold the Tyranny!)

If the myriad of public opinion polls are correct… most Americans by a LARGE margin, like the healthcare they are personally receiving. It ain’t so much about the doctor, that worries most of us... it's the constantly exploding costs. Even those of us with employer paid insurance worry that soon escalading prices will curtail our good deal. So in campaign 2008, when Barak Obama promised not only “affordable healthcare reform” but that we can keep health plans we like… it was a sure winner! (Keep my current great healthcare, with somebody else paying for it… what’s not to like?) People like "help" paying for their healthcare (along with too many other things!)… and be it government, employers, the “rich” it don’t matter. The Democrats know this… The BIG problem is… logical reforms such as health savings accounts backed by high-deductable “disaster plans”, with tax deductions for out-of-pocket expenses and insurance premiums…(ya know, stuff that might actually work), just don’t give enough POWER to the government… which no matter what was promised, is the REAL desire of the hyper-left Democrats now in charge in D.C… has been for years.

The 500-lb gorilla in the room that complicates all this… is many (too many) Americans (including most Democrats) love the “free” part in any government program… but have the nasty habit of disliking the “government control” part. When the reality was reveled of what was actually meant by “reform” (very reluctantly by the way) in the bills offered in the House and Senate… it hit home! The threat of rationing, control of behaviors, like smoking, various no-no diets and proposed taxes on EVERYTHING (not just the “rich”)... it ALL started to come into focus! The folks (even many who voted Democrat) began to suspect “affordable healthcare” was to be extremely expensive… not in just money, but worse… in FREEDOM! Also, the deep recession and high unemployment re-focused Americans on the economy, and healthcare slipped on the “concern scale”. Surprisingly, other than some mild platitudes and vacuous rhetoric on the economy, President Obama doesn’t seem to care (he HAS a job)! Now… the heavy-handed tactics of Obama and the Democrat leadership are on vivid display… (in spite of the best efforts of most of the media to cover-up the “sausage”). President Obama and the Democrats have been in total control for a year now… and on the major issues, from war to healthcare and especially the economy, they at best seem clueless, at worst (which I suspect?) tyrant wannabes! I did this a few years back... time for an update:

The terrorist threat is always with us, recession and high unemployment shows no signs of reversing… the mortgage crisis has much of the market “under water” … enough of the trivial stuff!

What are we gonna do about the BCS mess? What worthy college football team(s) are gonna be left on the sidelines when the top two BCS teams play for the glass football in January? Everybody has a “better” plan… including the RedNeckoBlogger!
First: "tweak" the regular season
Change regular scheduled season to ten games … to end the weekend before Thanksgiving. If not selected for the playoffs, a school can be invited to a smaller bowl game, or schedule a extra game (or two) with an opponent not normally on the schedule… a coupla 0-10 clubs could schedule a game with each other so SOMEBODY could WIN a game!

Number Two: Selection process
Champions of the five FBS playoff conferences would gain auto berths in the national championship tournament… champions from the six non-playoff conferences would have “challenge” games with other non-playoff conferences, winner getting auto berths. That gives 8 teams, 16 at large schools would be selected from remaining worthies… still subject to controversy of course, but no more than now. They play each other leaving the winners to fill the 16-team bracket. These games would be the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Third: Selected schools will be seeded by a BCS Process
For the first two rounds home field advantage will be based on these seedings, and played the first two weeks of December. I would suggest beginning with the semi-finals (final four) these games be venued in the traditional big bowl format , January 1. Other January 1, games could select teams losing in the first rounds… we love football so a coupla consolation matchups would fill the rest of the big bowl new year’s day requirements.

The Big Game:
Will be played the "weekend after the weekend" of January 1, for 2010 it would be Saturday the 9th… in prime time, of course… this still, would make a 15-game season for finalists… a lot, but many with conference playoffs and bowls, already play 14 and the FCS schools have been doing this for years, and it works for them. Can we could start next season?

I have often stated that the biggest lie ever fostered on the human race is the screwball and totally speculative Darwin “theory” of evolution… its main purpose to separate the human race from their creator! Now we have big lie #2, not far behind lie #1… human caused “Global Warming” …er… or "Climate Change" (in case things don’t warm). Like evolution, when the proponents are challenged with holes in their assertions… we get condescension, name calling and attempts to silence and even outlaw all opposition… and there are plenty of scientists who question these climate change disaster assertions, you just don't hear about them in the media.

One of very by-products of life itself CO2... is now a pollutant. How many times has the climate in earth’s history changed? How many times has humankind caused it? It could be it's just happening again, on its on!

Could it be that what we have here is the 21st Century version of the pagan explanation that our mishaps are a result of “angry gods”? In the past thousands of years earthquakes, storms and other assorted catastrophes have required sacrifices of virgins, children and other unfortunate folks to appease the angry gods! Note that the high priests and shamans demanding these “necessary” sacrifices rarely were it victims.

Now we have Al Gore (poster child) and other self-appointed Chicken Littles and most of the media, just like the pagan shamans of old, demanding essentially the same thing… sacrificing freedoms and standard of living to appease Momma Earth. Some like looney-tune billionare Ted Turner are demanding we reduce earth’s population… (but not him) how does he plan for that to be achieved? (can you say Holocaust #2).

Note that the high priests and shamans demanding these “necessary” sacrifices like those of old, do not plan to do much sacrificing themselves (i.e. Al Gore's infamous utility bill).

One wonders… Why do most all the political "elite" class (sadly 'D' and 'R' alike) jump on board with this fraud?

Could it be… only a huge government, more and more totalitarian, can "solve" this "problem".

When he was falsely accused and thrown into prison did it seem G-d was nowhere to be found? Later, we
would find out things are not always as they seem! Later to his brothers he said: (Genesis 50:20: As for you, you meant evil against me, but G-d meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to SAVE many people.)

The attack on the World Trade Center was an act of unspeakable EVIL, what kind of "Faith" calls the slaughter of innocent people "an act of righteousness" ???????? Where was G-d? But, to much of the world, the World Trade Center was a towering sign of American arrogance and materialism, a "tower of Babel" as it were, in a city that has mocked G-d. No doubt it was a sobering and humiliating experience for America! They way it "came a tumbling down" was prophetic! When it occurred, did Americans flock to the biology classes to find the answers in a better understanding of evolution? Or… did we gather at our Houses of Worship? We can only hope that we in the good ole USA will take notice of some warnings and promises…

Lemme see, help me with the “Gubmint math”... An increasingly imperial and arrogant congressional leadership, who after narrowly passing “Crap ‘n trade” which will lead to rationing energy and making it much more expensive… orders 5-8 luxury jets ($60M per) that burn more fuel in an hour than my SUV burns in a month so they can travel like royalty!

The only “Health Care” bill generally distributed was written by the most LEFTIE members of Congress (Waxman, Pelosi)… To make “free heathcare” available to ALL our great “leaders” are now proposing taxes on every aspect of American life from soda pop to the miles we drive to fund a “heath reform” they have NO INTENTION of living under themselves… Calling anyone, who even questions much less disagrees… Nazis and right wing mobs (and now racist)!

I now see I’m just a stupid American who needs to learn my “leaders” (rulers?) know best!!!!

As I have been SCREAMING from the rooftops! These aren’t “liberals” they are “Plantationists” as they plan to reside in the “Mansion on the Hill” and we serfs will dwell in the “mud huts” living a rationed subsistence… as there is just not enough prosperity to go around, and save the Earth too.

Who/What Created Evil?

Could it be no one? Maybe evil is not a 'created' thing… like cold is the absence of heat, dark is the absence of light... could evil be simply the absence of G-d? When one separates from G-d, he/she is left with only EGO. Ego is a cruel and merciless master, never satiated, that demands to be worshiped as god and therefore is a prime candidate for the source of evil. Lucifer is the ultimate example of this, G-d created him as an Archangel and gave him the gift of beauty (Son of the Morning… Isaiah 14:12), but he misused this gift. When Lucifer separated from G-d he became evil, for he had nowhere else to go. He was seduced by, and gave in to… EGO.

The recent roster of mass murderers, from Hitler to Stalin, Pol Pot to Saddam, all wanted to be worshiped as gods... (ego). For the poor souls under their jackboot, the penalty for not worshiping them was/is always agony and death! Interviews with serial murderers have revealed that they often forced their victims to “worship” them before they pronounced “judgment” (selfish ego totally out of control!).

In 21st century America, ego drives the anti Judeo-Christian “movement”. From the A.C.L.U. to Michael Newdow (the take G-d outta the Pledge guy), to Hollywood’s Limousine Liberals, it all about “look at me, I’m on TV” (saying ridiculous things…) Ego is the totally anti-G-d state of mind, and is In My Humble Opinion (IMHO) the foundation of evil! There is ultimately only two true faiths... worship of G-d or worship of self (ego). So again IMHO, all cults, ideologies, isms, etc. are just versions of EGO!

A Christian's view of Why the Jews are Hated.

Genesis 12:3: "I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you. In you will all of the families of the earth be blessed."

This is G-d’s promise to Abraham, that gave rise to the people who would be known as Jews, and planted the seeds of why they are now, and have through millennia, been hated by so many since the moment that covenant was sealed. I believe with all my soul that the United States of America has prospered and become the greatest nation in history because we have kept the first part of that promise. Yes, there have been anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S. but overall no nation has welcomed the Jews like America, and America has been greatly blessed as a result. Jews, although small in number are great in influence, occupying many important positions in many prominent avenues of life. Far greater, proportionately than any other ethnic group. Go figure?

The Jews are clearly cherished and loved by Almighty G-d. Nothing else explains the paradox of the most persecuted people in history thriving in spite of hate, pogroms and the Holocaust. Many historians wonder how Jews have kept their identity for 3,000+ years. It just doesn’t make sense. They should have vanished millennia ago, along with the Phoenicians, the Hittites, the Philistines or any other ‘ites that shared the space that archeologists are now digging up.

The foundation of the hatred begins with Satan… Ole Devil’s contempt for the Jews is a direct result of the Redeemer, Lamb of God Jesus Christ who was/is a Jew. The blood of Jesus is the sin offering that reconciles the soul of Man with G-d and delivers us from Satan and Hell, just as the blood of the lamb (a model of Christ?) led to the Passover deliverance of the Jews from Egypt. This is why TRUE Bible believing Evangelicals are and have been the BEST friends the Jews have EVER had. While we do not understand why Jews, as a whole, do not recognize Jesus as Messiah, we do KNOW the Jews, through the covenant with Abraham gave the world the Savior (…the Promise: “In you will all of the families of the earth be blessed”. I prefer the call the Abrahamic covenant the “Original” covenant rather than the “Old” covenant).

To people who imply the “Jews” rejected Jesus I say, nonsense! The whole first century Church were Jews, including all the New Testament writers (with the possible exception of Luke). Many more Gentiles have rejected Jesus than Jews.” As for the accusation that the Jews killed Jesus… well they didn’t do it by themselves, as the Romans (Pilate) passed the final sentence. Jesus died willingly for all, and “all” (Jews and Gentiles) were involved in His crucifixion! Thus, our hope of salvation!

The “de-Jewing” of the Christian faith began with the “conversion” of Roman Emperor Constantine around 312 A.D. He soon after declared Christianity to be the official religion of Rome, and with that came the “politicalization” of the faith (promoting and confusing the “Church” above the Gospel). This began the separation of Christianity from its’ Jewish foundations and the beginning of “modern” anti-Semitism, (although it’s been around forever… i.e. Book of Esther), which has lead to many resulting apostasies, and the sordid history of anti-Semitism, which sadly appears to be re-energized again with recent events! True Christians understand the “Jewness” of our faith, and will strive to maintain our part of the promise of Genesis 12:3. Dialogue welcome! G-d Bless. Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem.

Fun With Domestic Partners! (Or... "Gay" Marriage, let there be Chaos!)

The University of Florida at Gainesville recently generated some controversy when in order to receive benefits from a new health plan, employees have to pledge that they're having sex with their domestic partners before qualifying for benefits. This was apparently designed to keep mere roommates from applying. After the news was reported nationwide the school announced it will “modify” its affidavit requirements. Requiring a declaration of a sexual relationship IMHO, has civil liberty and legal complications by the bushel, if you're going the demolish the tradtional concept of marriage, why require sex? That's just another limitation, like the sex of the partners!

In our new open liberal "we accept everybody” society, please explain something to me... Why do you have to have sex to be married or Domestic Partners? Some married couples don't have sex, like the couple on TV the other night (the guy weighed 700lbs, but that's another blog) ...and if the sex (like "Gay" marriage) of the partners is no longer an issue, why should such a "relationship" be limited to two people? Since the male/female aspect is now irrelevant, isn't it unfair that these "unions" be limited to only two people? (are we being “twoist” …is it time to stamp out the prejudice of "duoism"!). If we are going to rid ourselves of the old, outdated and traditional “chains” of male/female marriage, we are going to have to throw it all out and start over! But start where? All bets are off as any attempt to limit the definition is arbitrary and begs a challenge. Think what this will do for the polygamists, “fundamentalist” Mormon sects in the west will demand recognition for sure. Could this soon dissolve into chaos?

I will sue so my 5-piece dance band or my 25 member fraternity can declare ourselves "domestic partners" (we love each other)...and gain all the benefits of (what was once) holy matrimony? We will demand that all of us be covered under ONE family health insurance program.

Also, what if my sister is a widow and I'm divorced (so there is NO sexual connection in our relationship), why should we be prevented from pooling our families and getting ALL the benefits of marriage, if we declare ourselves "Domestic Partners"? Think about Aunt Bea and Uncle Charlie, they were vital "domestic partners" to their households (I am assuming there was no sex). In the headlong rush to destroy our Judeo-Christian roots advocates of "Gay" marriage and the like are opening a MAJOR can of worms (No pun intended). They say "we just want to do what’s fair”, but notice when you try to please everybody, you usually just screw it up for everybody.

Just fer fun… read some movie “reviews” of Ben Stein’s movie “Expelled” but there’s a catch… as of now I have not seen a real review… nothing about was it clever?, funny?, poorly or well made… just the standard angry tirade and condescending putdowns against anyone questioning the “sacred” dogma of evolution… most have done EXACTLY what Ben Stein was illustrating! How’s that for irony? They are entitled to their prejudices and opinions… but I hoping for a review. Well I did see the word “loaded” at lot… and monkey, sucker, and the ultimate loaded word... Christian Conservative.

I guess “disgruntled” means not buying the evolution claptrap… or wanting to explore other options, to (try and) explain the incredible complexity of life. But anyone who questions the "faith" is automatically "disgruntled and under-credentialed"! That Darwinism is the cornerstone of modern atheism is not denied by anyone, especially atheists!

Which leads to this observation... Can atheists happy?... as they seem to be ALWAYS angry (at who?) and happiness and anger are exclusive of each other... (unless I guess, being angry makes you happy?)

The evolutionists at the Devolab at Michigan State University have been touting “AVIDA” a digital evolution software that is described as “a digital world in which self-replicating computer programs mutate and evolve. Avida allows study questions and experiments in evolutionary dynamics and theoretical biology that are intractable in real biological systems.” (the key word is “intractable”)

Avida was featured as the cover story of the Feb. 2005 issue of Discover magazine.

Avaida allegedly demonstrates evolutionary processes that would take “miyons or biyons” (to quote the late Carl Sagan) or years to occur “naturally”. (Note: for this musing I am assuming Avida was intelligently designed by highly skilled programmers)… as a result Avida does EXACTLY was it programmed to do… demonstrate evolution as its “creators” assume it occured… geez are we back to that circular thing again? As a result Avida only “proves” evolution to those already convinced!

In the February 2005, article mentioned above, it is stated that “creationists” have tried to “break” the Avida model without success… which of course you can’t do because it does what it is intelligently designed to do… (again… prove evolution to those already convinced). The aforementioned “creationists” make the mistake of playing in the Avida “ballpark”.

Truthfully, Avida loses from the gitgo… cause it is intelligently designed to do what it does! I’m assumin’ again that in order for Avida to create “random evolutionary processes” SOMEBODY (playing God?) has to “push the button” to get it all started. Hmmmm… unless Avida just happened to appear one day, on somebody’s computer???????

Judicial Tyranny! What to Do?

A recycle... but California just did this... what do ya do about activists judges who morph into tyrants in black robes?

Number one: You can’t solve the problem with new judges… conservative judges can be just as activist as libs (and… have you noticed how “conservative” judges have a nasty habit of getting liberal after a few years on the court!) The problem of judicial activism is… the other branches of government (aren’t they EQUAL defenders of the Constitution?) have allowed it to happen… some of this is intentional, like lefties knowing they cannot achieve their goals democratically… other (more important) is Constitutional ignorance!

We need a Constitutional “crisis” to set the situation straight! Imagine this scenario: The Court (say 5-4) comes up with outrageous ruling (we’ll use "gay" marriage)… President Bush (or whoever) responds thusly: “I ask my fellow citizens to consider this… what if the court ruled that because of past mistreatment, a minority group could print their own money… and the court ruled it MUST be accepted as legal currency! Would it be any LESS counterfeit because the court ruled? A gay marriage license is COUNTERFEIT! Just like a $7 bill… the court has NO authority to say different!!! Therefore, as a EQUAL defender of the U.S. Constitution… I MUST reverse this outrageous UNCONSTITUTIONAL ruling!

So I hereby, by Executive Order, instruct the Attorney General that this ruling WILL NOT BE ENFORCED! I ask the Congress to step into the breach of this conflict between equal defenders of the Constitution, and determine once and for all… Do the courts have veto power over the will of the people? If so, we are NOT a republic but are ruled by a dictatorship of black robes!”

Let the chips fall where they may! We clearly need a second “revolution” to put the courts back into their Constitutional intended position. A “crisis” as laid out above may be the only way to accomplish that goal… And as with all revolutions, there is an element of risk involved!!! We are only slaves if we choose to be!!!

Tis the Season... Media (again) goes Looking for the "Real" Jesus

As the Holy Week leading to Easter approaches, the media types once again go searching for the "real" Jesus. The usual "suspects" ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN (et. al.) trot out "news" that tell us once more the "real" Jesus is NOT the Jesus in the New Testament... (the Savior that died for our sins and was resurrected.) NOPE! The real guy (choose one or more) was: the bastard son of a Roman soldier (maybe even gay), nuts... a fanatic among many of the day... and most definately DID NOT rise from the dead... yada, yada, yada. I suspect the late Peter Jennings, who some years back hosted one of the most virulent anti-Christian “specials” on the “real” Jesus… now knows different!

The terrorist threat is always with us, gas is over $3 a gallon with no signs of reversing… the mortgage crisis is close to being the 21st century version of the S&L debacle … enough of the trivial stuff!

What are we gonna do about the BCS mess? What worthy college football team(s) is gonna be left on the sidelines when the top two BCS teams play for the glass football January 7, in New Orleans? Everybody has a “better” plan… including the RedNeckoBlogger!

First: let's "tweek" the regular season
Change regular scheduled season to ten games… to end the weekend before Thanksgiving… with a post-season option. If not selected for the 16-team playoff, a school can be invited to a smaller bowl game, or schedule a extra game (or two) with an opponent not normally on the schedule… a coupla 0-10 clubs could schedule a game with each other so SOMEBODY could WIN a game! Conference championship games would be the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Number Two: Selection process
Champions of the 11 FBS conferences would gain auto berths in the playoffs… five at large schools would be selected from remaining worthies… still subject to controversy of course, but no more than now.

Third: Selected schools will be seeded by a BCS Process
For the first two rounds home field advantage will be based on these seedings, and played the first two weeks of December. I would suggest beginning with the semi-finals (final four) these games be venued in the traditional big bowl format , January 1. Other January 1, games could select teams losing in the first rounds… we love football so a coupla consolation matchups would fill the rest of the big bowl new year’s day requirements.

The Big Game:
Will be played the "weekend after the weekend" of January 1, for 2008 it would be Friday the 11th or Saturday the 12th… in prime time, of course… this still, for teams with conference playoffs, would make a 15-game season for finalists… a lot, but the FCS schools have been doing this for years, and it works for them.

Can we could start next season?

There appears to be controversy over building a fence along the U.S. Mexico border... much of the opposition comes from the Left. Now help me here... the world leftists/socialists have no problem with some fences... Berlin wall for example. The question is... why are the world socialist's fences built? To keep people out... or in? It escapes me why the "workers paradises" like Cuba, North Korea and sadly now Venezuela... are not being overrun by illegal immigrants... 'cause according to the Left in America, life is MUCH better there than here... human beings are sure hard to figure out! When given an opportunity to live in the "worker's paradise" or the EVIL U.S.A. they choose the EVIL U.S.A. nearly every time... Hmmmmmm?????

Oil and Water - Modern Democrats and Religion… things that don’t mix

One of the great ironies of modern times is the decline in power of the Democrat party. For years they ran the show. IMHO(1), the cancer of arrogance(2) was/is the culprit, along with the death of the Harry Truman, Scoop Jackson, John Kennedy species of Democrat (they are now what I call “reluctant” Republicans… the “value” voters). While pursuing social service/welfare type domestic policies, Truman/Jackson/JFK Democrats were staunch anti-Communists (as Korea and Vietnam would attest), and they were NOT hostile to religious faith and traditional American family values. In fact they embraced these values and used them to sell their programs (taking somebody else's money and giving it to “me” is usually a sure fire political winner!).

But beginning in the '50s, the seduction of leftist secularism took control... Supreme Court decisions openly hostile to religion were championed by those who gained control of the party in the '70s. These people wanted no part of religion AND much of their energy was/is spent pushing anti-religious values like abortion and "gay" marriage. This has gradually lost them many traditional Democrat blocs: they're "bleeding" Catholics, conservative Jews and I contend they will begin to bleed just enough religious Blacks and Hispanics (over gay marriage), to greatly damage their election prospects.

Not even Jimmah Carter and Bill Clinton can rescue 'em! Come election time Democrats trot out their ‘tokens’ (Tim Kaine, governor of Virginia, is the latest) to spout religious slogans… but based on their actions in every other endeavor, it’s just not believable. This is also aggravated by the “blame the U.S.A. first loud” crowd that inhabits the lefty blogasphere, Hollywood and much of the media. If Republicans could order their opponents from E-Bay… they could not do better than Air America, the ACLU, Cindy Sheehan. Michael Newdow(3), Ted Kennedy, Barbara Boxer et al!..

A poster who appears to be a Darwinist has visited this site (we call him/her Mr. Anonymous... God love 'em) is taking on all comers: (see comments on previous posts) . I admire the passion... even though IMHO it's somewhat misdirected.

Ok I’m dumb and ignorant BUT… I’m expected to believe something with a specific purpose and design (say... your digestive system or Darwin’s fave, the eye) can "easily come without design"(????!!!???) when the purpose is obvious to the most casual observer. (Ask the wino on the street what eyes are for). Does not true biology study JUST the opposite, how organs and systems ARE designed, how they work within the whole organism… and how to fix them when they malfunction? (i.e. heart surgery).

"World renowned" evolutionist Richard Dawkins admitted he "sorta had faith" (in that same BBC Interview) when discussing how things that "appear" designed could actually have come about without design." This somewhat odd assertion gives the appearance of a design (but not designed) to eliminate the concept of an intelligent purposeful creator… that some (like me) would assume... based on a structure that looks to be designed for a specific purpose (say a wing for flying), but IS NOT designed, just appears to be, but somehow works just like it was designed. (Whew!) . This has (to me and some others) the “appearance of illogic”!

This dogma of Darwinism (to me) has more the appearance of the stuff that comes out of the end of our digestive systems (that weren't designed... only appear to be) than anything resembling science!

Darwinism, not biology, would crash. (A little secret): evolution is not necessary to study any organism… we study how the organism works, its purposes and design. The Ideology of Evolution (Pretending to be Science)

Of all my musings: “Intelligent Design” Creation in New Clothes?” seems to have generated all the heat! Thanx to all commenters (is that a word?... is now!) . Due to the volume of comments I am opening a new blog, that starts with my comment about the late Carl Sagan (who I contend now knows there is a God).

In the 1980 PBS series "Cosmos" with the late Mr. Sagan... he states (talking about origins) that one day in the organic chemical soup of early earth, "Quite by accident" life began... at the time I remember I sat up in my chair and blurted out loud: "He's making a philosophical statement, not a scientific one!"

Most prominent evolutionists, Richard Dawkins comes to mind (currently on a fierce anti-religion tirade), like Sagan, seem to want to wind the philosophy and the (so-called) science of evolution tightly together… thus forming the IDEOLOGY of evolution. This ideology of evolution is no doubt totally hostile to the idea of a creator and is often hostile to science itself, when any research challenges its' dogma (like the work of Michael J. Behe)! The ideology of evolution is INDEED the foundation of all modern atheistic ‘isms... and does not tolerate being questioned! For like other totalitarian ideologies… it tries to outlaw and persecute any alternatives offered. Otherwise, why do courts, lawyers and lawmakers need to be involved in “science” debates?

Any questioning of Darwin (aka: ID) is the new “Dred Scott” in the struggle… in 1857 (Dred Scott v. Sanford), Mr. Scott was declared mere property by the Supreme Court… much as questioning of evolution is declared “not-science”, by (just as misguided) judges today (just declare anything you don’t like “religion” and it’s banned! How convenient!). It took a horrific war to "correct" the grievous Dred Scott errors... and while this ID/Evolution "war" is not near as deadly (yet) as the War Between the States (1861-65), it’s just as passionate! Like the southern plantation owners of the past… most of the current “scientific” community has so much of their self-identity, reputations and resources invested in their ideology, they cannot entertain any challenges that would/could upset their world!

The truth is the ID/Evolution “debate” is much more about the ideology than the science.

"Intelligent Design" is just Creationism (of the Judeo-Christian Bible) in new clothes. This wardrobe change is the result of U.S. courts’ hostility to Judeo-Christianity, and their "establishment" through judicial fiat, of Secularism/Evolution as the "established" religion of the government (in total defiance of the First Amendment). Therefore folks who question the dogma of evolution are forced by corrupt judges to (try and) play in the evolutionists "ballpark". When corrupt judges/leaders dam up truth… truth like water must find another flow path. Hence the ID movement… Therefore… let it be declared:

Evolution is the BIGGEST lie EVER perpetrated on the human race! Evolutionists say it’s scientific but where? Its central tenant: accidental life (how do you prove this?) leading to purposeful development (brain, eyes, ears, legs, etc.) is patently ABSURD!!! Evolutionists admit they cannot tell us absolutely "how or why" we got here, but damn sure are willing to tell us, with no uncertainty, how we didn't (NOT created by G-d). Do I detect an agenda here?

Modern day evolutionists are like a bunch on Communists refusing a debate on democracy because they contend democracy is "not a political system" (you see, they get to define the terms). Likewise evolutionists want to define the terms of “science” to fit their NARROW understanding, thus eliminating having to defend the weaknesses of their theory. BUNK!

The greatest outrages of the 20th century from Stalin and Hitler to Pol Pot used evolution as their foundation. Without G-d to restrain them, they set about to "perfect" the human race in THEIR own image, which inevitably meant dispensing with large numbers of the "imperfect" specimens. With no real evidence, evolutionists are terrified of open and honest debate. As a result any opposition MUST be ridiculed and silenced! As one scientist explained, "The fossil record gave us the leaves, evolutionary speculation drew the branches". This was done for ideological not scientific reasons.

P.S. Stephen Ray Gould, Carl Sagan and Isaac Asimov , etc. ALL now KNOW there is G-d!
