"Obama Truth Team" sounds so North Korean... This is an election about the “issues”… with Mitt Romney’s pick of Paul Ryan as VP; the Republican ticket will advance a return to American Exceptionalism, free market economics, reducing taxes and the strangling regulation on the job producers…


President Obama and Democrats (and most media) will stress the vital “issues” that Romney/Ryan will kill you, your wife, throw granny off the cliff and deny prissy princess Sandra Fluke her birth control pills. Such will be the “issues” of 2012.

President Obama knows there is great unease bordering on fear and depression in the land, and many people are disillusioned with his “leadership”. He and his media “Lewinskys” KNOW his only chance is to make the voters fear Romney more than him. Expect the contents of the Democrat/media sewer to be unleashed with a ferocity not seen before!!!

I’m confident a significant portion (enough to win) of minorities and young voters can be “fruit to be picked” if the nitwit GOP establishment will at give it a try! The GOP establishment is long been locked in the prison of "conventional wisdom"... (and DAMN sure better break out soon!!!). Many college grads are graduating with mortgage sized student debt, no job prospects and living in mom's basement on dad's insurance. Yet they support Obama 2 to 1????

I suspect much of their support is thin and can be wrestled away. If Romney/GOP can muster half a brain, and will appeal to their obvious sense of unease, grim future prospects... often bordering on helplessness,  I firmly believe a sizable percent can be “turned”. The effort to make "Obama cool" uncool can be done with the right strategy and cleverness (clever is in short supply in the “insider GOP”). Success and prosperity must be LOUDY PROCLAIMED as the ultimate COOL! These young DemWits can be brought to fold, but DAMMIT Mitt/GOP ya gotta at least TRY Mitt!!!

We have seen some cracks in minority support as to Obama’s recent support of “Gay” marriage… the appeal must at least be tried as only a coupla percent flip can doom any change of BHO’s re-election. Romney and the GOP establishment need to quit dissing the Tea Party folks and get on board with their “freedom agenda”. Like has been said many times about generals and admirals… the insider GOP are always prepared to fight the last war/election.

Think this election as like a football game between NY Giants and Podunk … Podunk CAN’T win but the Giants CAN LOSE if they make enough "wrong mistakes" (to quote the great sage and philosopher Yogi Berra).

Get with it Mitt/GOP kick liberal BUTT! It can be done!!!

Admittedly not being the “sharpest knife in the drawer”, I still must conclude President Obama and Democrats really like and prefer BIG!!! (contrary to what they sometimes have to say in speeches)… BIG (DC centric) government, BIG corporations (GE, GM, etc.), BIG centralized healthcare (ObamaCare), BIG union (SEIU/AFL-CIO) and BIG banks, like those on (hated?) Wall Street. What the president and Democrats appear to dislike is small… as in small business, (“you didn’t build that”), small community banks, schools and locally run services). I see history confirming those of “progressive” political tilt prefer central planning and power (aka: BIG!). States and localities are to be supervised from top-down all-knowing DC “ivory tower masters”.

Dodd-Frank was to save us from EVIL greedy BIG Wall Street bankers, but has resulted in placing complicated often strangling regulations, mainly on smaller local community banks. Many may be forced to close and be absorbed by BIG banks (intended?) In all the above our president and his Democrat business allies seem to prefer BIG faceless hyper-bureaucrats to be in charge, and opposed to personal neighborly service of yesteryear (small). So when I hear any liberal/”progressive” offer support for local businesses (“buy local”)… I see a dualism that needs some explanation… I am open to being enlightened.
